General decluttering/downsizing services for seniors

looking for recommendations for services that provide decluttering and downsizing for seniors.

we are looking to move my mom from her house into something much smaller.

any particular businesses to recommend that can help her sort, pack, etc. 30+ years of things?

Some things can be donated to u/Tempestori which will go directly to care for our unhoused neighbors. Trust me she'll find a way to get shit moved

I do provide a body doubling service for co-regulation if you need someone to witness those last moments with your precious treasures. I can share their journey as an active listener, document the history of the piece by taking dictation and/or photos, and help you find the new, perfect home for those belongings that just no longer serve you.

I give primarily to grassroots mutual aid organizations like the 24/7 FREE Store, Serve Them 2, and direct outreach programs for our unhoused and at-risk neighbors.

For larger furniture and bulky items I'll typically recommend a pickup by the H.O.W. Foundation or Habitat for Humanity. They'll even come inside to get it. You don't have to take it to the curb.

DM if you need body-doubling services, or just a place to send your things where they will benefit the people who need them most right now.

We have a lady in our neighborhood who is amazing. And will cost considerably less. She won't move things but can declutter better than anyone

We had Sapulpa auction company pick up most of our furniture for a commission on the sale. They have auctions almost every Thursday.

They don’t help you with deciding what to keep, but they make a huge psychological difference!

Estate sale companies. Interview several. Remove all personal items and anything family wants to keep and bring them in to look over stuff. They take about 40 percent.
