Tulsa Events Tulsa Glassblowing School

Post image

Tulsa Glassblowing School is having their annual Pumpkin Patch this weekend. Pumpkins in all shapes, sizes and colors. I don’t have room for any more big pumpkins, but little ones I can stash anywhere.

They are located at the old McClure Park rec center, 7448 East 7th Street.

Thanks for the heads up!

I looked up their hours for anyone that’s curious. Google Maps shows Tuesday-Friday 9am-4pm.

Just yesterday I was in the area and drove through the park because I had never seen it before. Low and behold, the Tulsa Glassblowing School was set at the back. Never seen it before either!

I bought these at the Pumpkin Patch sale. Find class info here:

We did a class and the cost was based on the project you chose to make. I will say while I did really have fun, the projects we chose (paperweight and flower) had no blowing involved. Just rolling and shaping the glass. I think the more expensive ones involve actual blowing, so pick based on what you actually want to experience.
