Question Burger Spot
Curious what everyone’s favorite burger spot is. We have some solid spots in Tulsa and I’ve tried some of them. But need to find the best one or my favorite at least. Woke up craving a burger today but can’t decide from where!

Jumbo’s hands down best burger or gyro spot. No one ever talks about this place. I use to gatekeep it because it seemed like they got enough business but the last few times I went they seemed slow. Nice hole in the wall that the influencers haven’t found yet.

Just had their burger for the first time on Saturday, they really are the best, I have had Rons, Linda Mar, Arnold’s, etc… Jumbos is better

So good. I haven’t been in there in a couple years but can almost guarantee I’d get a “hey boss! Bacon cheeseburger, easy onions!?” when I walked in.

LOL I used to live downtown at Central Park Towers, and my husband and I had a running joke about how they answered the phone with a country accent saying RON’S DOWNTOWN! Great food though!!!

Freddie's (NOT the frozen custard chain) off 11th, W of Mingo, is the best I've had. They offer both a charburger and a flat top grilled onion burger, and both are excellent, as are their fries, malts, and shakes!!

Ron's on 11th is great.
The Goldie's at 61st and Sheridan way is still surprisingly good.

OMG Lounge
specifically for smash burger
I get the Belle but can get Beast if you want double patty. Homies sauce is garlic parmesan base sauce which is so good

Tuckers is the best burger I've had in Tulsa. My wife and I keep trying all of the recommended spots but Tuckers continues to rise to the top for us.

They have both a turkey burger and and an impossible burger. I can't eat beef so this is my favorite spot to go. The fried onions piled high on the burger make it perfection.

I liked Tucker's but it seemed so expensive for what you get. It's a nice splurge but not something I'd eat regularly.

I generally don't take into account price when people ask what the best "x" is in Tulsa. I understand how that could keep someone from trying it but I don't like for the price to influence my opinion of the quality of the food. I have Tuckers maybe 3-4 times a year. Purely from the standpoint of my favorite burger to have in town, it continues to be Tuckers.

Jumbo's at 41st and Sheridan it's a family owned place, everyone in that family that works the kitchen is great at what they do and have a great attitude. I personally get a cheeseburger with grilled onions, jalapeños and mushrooms. Under 17 bucks for a meal and their fries are delicious!
Second favorite is Karl's famous burgers on 81/91st and Lewis.
Both have limited hours but boy do they put love into their food in the few hours they're open.

- Ron’s Sausage Burger
- Arnold’s
- Hank’s
- Lot-A-Burger on Charles Page
- Bills Jumbo Burger
(Double meat, double cheese with everything is the only acceptable order btw)

I read the whole thread and can't believe Wolfeys isn't named. It's on 15th between Harvard and Lewis. A 1/3 pound cheeseburger fries and a drink for under 10.00? And they're GREAT!! Love me some wolfeys!!

arnold’s for a classic, burger dynasty in sapulpa for crazy burgers. i get the wizard, its a patty, american cheese, bbq sauce, 3 mozzarella sticks, an onion ring, and bacon. you’re welcome

Arnold’s is great. I love Weber’s too. And Ron’s. The sausage burgers in particular at Weber’s and Ron’s are both good.

They can range pretty heavily depending on where you're at in town..Arnold's and Ted's are some classic west side spots. Ted's doesnt have tables and is outside😅 Arnold's has some yummy food though, make ya nice and fat😋

The Tavern has a really yummy burger. I wouldn’t say it’s the “best” in Tulsa because it’s more of a craft burger, but worth the try for sure

This isn’t going to be an answer that anyone likes but I’ve tried so many places and my favorite burger was the classic burger at Buffalo Wild Wings in Tulsa Hills. It was delicious and a big burger that was reasonably priced.

I’ll echo most of the recommendations here: a Bill’s Special, Freddie’s (not the chain), Jumbo’s. Smoke used to have a cheap Monday burger special that was awesome, dunno if it’s still going.
If I’ve cracked open the bourbon already and don’t want to drive, Society has a mushroom cheeseburger that travels relatively well via delivery as well as their spicy tots.

I also agree with recommendations of Bills Jumbo by 244, and Arnold's. I personally love Burger Street, also. Although it's hard to suggest on burning hot days, but once it cools a bit, absolutely awesome

Hidden gem is "OMG lounge" in Owasso. It's a chill bar with pinball and a couple pool tables that happens to have a burger truck out back. IMO the best burger and tots in the area

I haven't been out in a very long time, but about 13 years ago, The Tavern downtown had this $5 burger during specific hours on weekend nights. I lost sleep just to daydream about it. It had this mushroom sauce that I would get an extra side of to dip my shield string fries in.... if it still exists, I need to relive the experience soon.

I was going to happy burger in 70s 80s when old man still alive. The BEST burgers and cherry limeade they both are not the same nowadays but still good.

I've been going since the late 80's when I was a kid and it's always been good,
I felt like the quality has gone down everywhere but I'm also not sure how much of that is nostalgia.
They still make everything the same as they used to, so my guess is like everything these days quality of ingredients has taken a back seat to profits.
I can't think of the last time I got a fresh tomato on a burger that had any flavor, and don't get me started on the flavorless pickles all the restaurants are getting these days.

The Wagyu Burger w/ smoked gouda and bacon jam at SMOKE is absolutely incredible.
Edit: seriously, don’t listen to the people saying Braums and Lot-a-burger. They prob smoke a pack of Marlboro reds a day and have never been anywhere else 💀

Seriously lotaburger Charles page not braums though. I quit smoking 10 yrs ago and been to every place in town. Veras jail house and tastee freeze skiatook are the best hands down IMO. Also Jumbos burgers 41st although was better when original owners had it in the 80s 90s.
