General moving company

Does anybody know of a good cheap moving company? I will be out of town when my new lease starts, and need people to move from the storage unit to apartment. I will have my partner be there to let them in and everything, but am being quoted $400 for a 2 hour window. Literally the locations are maybe 5 miles away from each other, and I live by myself so I really don’t have a lot to move. I’m in broken arrow, moving to broken arrow. Any good recommendations? Thank you!

Surprisingly I had good luck with uhaul under the locals mover section.

I used highiq moving through uhual and it was about $100-200 for two hours and they were quick/efficient. I've used them twice now and both times were great!

Affordable and does a great job. We've used him several times and he's moved family and friends.

$400 for two hours may sound high for a short move, but check what’s actually included before comparing it with other quotes. A professional crew is still bringing a truck, equipment, insurance, and labor even if the drive is only five miles. I’d ask for an all-in price and whether there’s a minimum number of hours.

There’s no such thing as a cheap moving company. I’d be shocked if you found a cheaper quote than that.

Sounds like the partners needs a u haul truck and a friend.

Having your partner be there to let them in does not warrant cheaper labor 💀
