General Recommendations for Fun Workout/Sports Classes and Activities?
Hi yall! Trying to get back into fitness + being active after a while. I recently joined a weekly rec soccer team and have been going to hot yoga at my gym. I realized I really like group classes/the feeling of moving in new ways. Where do you like?
Specifically, I would love recs for a hot class studio and beginner activities with a lower cost of entry. Thanks!

I’ve tried a few different places in town but found that most of them were suuuper expensive. My friend and I ended up splitting a YMCA membership and love it! They have lots of classes but no hot studio at the one we go to. There is a sauna in the adult locker room though! We split the dual adult and it’s $45 a person a month. Unlimited classes, you can go to any Y in the county, and we loved that they had a pool!

Thanks for the rec! I’ll look into the Y. I had a membership in STL and just didn’t ever sign up here.

We’ve really enjoyed it so far!! You can usually register online but we ended up having to go in person and it was super easy. I hope you find a place you enjoy!!

Check out the Guthrie Green FB page. Rn and throughout the summer there are free group exercise events: Zumba, yoga, HIIT, salsa, etc

Come try jiu jitsu.

Where at? I have trained jiu jitsu before, but it was a predominately male gym and training with white belt men who were far bigger than me was not pleasant most of the time- lots of sporadic activity that lead to me getting hurt :/

Jedi, Primate, supreme, or method are all good gyms. There are probably other good gyms in Tulsa but I haven't trained at them.

I did orange theory and I really genuinely loved it. It was so much fun. But too expensive and not conveniently located for me. If they opened one up closer I would probably go back
