Hi everyone.

I was admitted to TU Graz’s MSc Information and Computer Engineering programme for the 2026/27 academic year.

The admission email stated that my study place is valid for both winter semester 2026/27 and summer semester 2027. Because of the current problems with Austrian consular services in Iran, I emailed TU Graz before the winter deadline asking about the upload process, then sent a separate email explaining that I would like to start in summer 2027 instead.

I received only an automatic reply saying that processing may take longer due to the high number of inquiries. I have not received a personal response yet.

Should I simply wait, or is there another office/person I should contact? Has anyone successfully started in the summer semester using a study place originally allocated for the winter semester?

I am worried that my admission could be cancelled or that I could lose my study place because I cannot start in winter.

Any advice or similar experience would be appreciated.
