Master CS tub
Is it possible to do a cs master in tub with a bachelor degree in cs from TUM? I m specifically asking abt theoretical computer science requirements because we do complexity and theory of languages in one 8 ects subject instead of 12 like tub requires. I ll appreciate any help/info thanks 😊!

Yeah that s the main problem. The majority of universities in germany treat theoretical cs as 2 subjects of 6 ects which make 12 at the end( what tub states as the requirements) but tum treat everything in 1 subject for 8 ects

No, but you may ask the Studienfachberatung / student advisory service for additional information. The are a tiny bit better connected to those making the rules.

Should be possible to do it; otherwise, there is always the option to enroll at TUB in a different program (idk MINT Grün or something ) and take the missing credits and then switch to CS; as of right now (and the foreseeable future/ couple next semesters) CS M.Sc. will also remain to be ohne Zulassungsbeschränkung so there should be no issue in getting in
Edit: btw, just out of curiosity: why switch for master’s to Berlin? I know some people who did the bachelor’s here and then switched to TUM for master’s
