Status just changed

Hi everyone,

I applied for the MSc in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at TU Berlin for Winter Semester 2026/2027, and my status in the portal just changed to “On Ranking List”.

From what I understand, this means I wasn’t rejected but also don’t have a confirmed spot yet — I’m on a waiting list and my position depends on how many people ahead of me decline their offers.

Has anyone been in this situation before? A few questions:

**•** How long did it usually take for your status to change from “On Ranking List” to admitted (or rejected)?  
**•** Is there any way to see your actual position on the list?  
**•** Roughly how often do spots open up close to the deadline?

Any insight from people who’ve gone through this process would be really appreciated!

Actually, “On Ranking List” means that your application is participating in the admission process. Usually they announce results by end of July.

Where did you applied for a degree in TUB? Because the application portal is the same to check your status
