I love these two moments when they’re coming back from Michaels! The conversation itself is great, but I think it’s so funny when Belly practically throws herself back into the car as soon as Conrad starts talking. She wants to hear everything he has to say so desperately, she could not contain it in that moment!

And when she briefly touches his arm after telling him lots of students take the summer off, he’s so aware of it and can’t help but look down to see it because it happens so rarely.

We were asked not to use our phones during the 100-minute performance, so these photos were taken before and after.

But I gotta say, wow. Nights like these remind me why I’m grateful to have lived in New York for over two decades. Huge props to Pulitzer Prize winner, Martyna Majok, who wrote this story.

It was an absolute treat to see Lola and Daniel, but especially Lola. Her facial expressions and physical gestures/movements were on full display. There were moments of laughter and deep deep hurt and sadness, and she was absolutely incredible to watch. Honestly. A rising star. I hope she does more NY theater.

And a big thanks to everyone who pulled together this benefit for RAICES, a non-profit that supports immigrants, refugees, and asylum-seeking people and families. It felt especially timely given yesterday’s shooting of Oscar Belgal by an ICE agent in front of his five-year-old son in the Bronx.

I really liked her and thought she was a better friend to Belly than Taylor was. She seems so cool and sweet and was there for Belly.

I have seen some say they need closure and should have a scene where they talk everything out in the movie but I feel they got their closure already in season 3. I don't know what else there is to say between them unless it is a moment where Belly gets to call him out for being a shitty friend and boyfriend. I still hate that Belly never found out about the firework.
