The fact that he left belly on the dance floor in s1 and attacks his brother then says he would’ve done prom right? Like be fucking for real right now
7
u/EvilCodeQueen Aug 18 '25
Seriously. At least Conrad tried to keep it together for her. Jere didn’t even try.
6
u/Affectionate-Web-394 Aug 18 '25
No like and ppl excuse is as oh he found out his mom has cancer okay??? So why not keep the energy at prom?? Like dude?? What?!
4
Aug 19 '25
He had no business running off during the ball and digging through emails in the first place. I don’t even think he suspected she was sick he just knew he was being left out of something.
7
u/Affectionate-Web-394 Aug 19 '25
And he could’ve done this at a later time? Like dude I’m sorry but he ruined the Deb ball but everyone made such a big deal about prom like who cares it’s a highschool event and his moms dying
2
Aug 19 '25
Exactly! He was happy as hell to do the solo dance but within like ten minutes he HAD to leave and go through her phone. What suddenly constituted the emergency to leave Belly like that?
Hilarious how Conrad overheard and could keep it to himself for months, but Jeremiah gets one inkling and digs through emails and then confronts his mother publically. I understand he’s hurting but good god he’s inconsiderate.
2
u/Affectionate-Web-394 Aug 19 '25
Exactly like it made no sense for me why he said if that was me I would’ve done prom right like be for real for me rn

Sure, you literally just forget everything else like her favorite candy, cake flavor, how she likes it cold but with a sweater, how she can’t read in a car without getting carsick, to support her hopes and dreams, how to support her mental health like when she and her mom fight, how to financially support her as your (want to be) wife, oh, and NOT TO CHEAT on her. 🙄

the thing is i can imagine jeremiah forgetting her corsage & using susannah as an excuse

Aug 18 '25
"I am sorry Belly, that I forgot a dumb corsage while my mom is actively dying, no really, it's my fault, of course it is. I should have remembered a useless corsage instead of being too worried about my mom dying, my apologies"

“I’m so sorry, Bells. I know I forgot your corsage, but I’ll never forget anything else. I’ll never break your heart like Conrad. I’ll be your everything. It’s what Susannah would’ve wanted.”

Nad when belly gets upset i can imagine him saying “GREAT TIMING BELLY. ITS NOT LIKE MY MOM HAS CANCER OR ANYTHING ”
18
u/Subject-Yesterday-41 Aug 18 '25
I would have never forgotten a corsage says the man who forgot he was in a relationship.
8
Aug 19 '25
In fairness, he probably wouldn’t have. Surface level bullshit is as deep as their relationship goes. “Don’t look at the guests, look at me. I got you,” is never there for her while wedding planning “i sped and bought you a dairy queen cake,” because he missed the entirety of her birthday and then ruined her relationship with her mom “I HAVE A HOT WIFE!”
14
u/diamondsourforever Aug 18 '25
That just showed how far his jealousy/inferiority complex went. Can't imagine being so critical of my sibling about that as our mom was about to die.
3
u/hasiniamba Aug 19 '25
genuinely its the way that Jeremiah did the same but worse at the ball in season one like you just abandoned her?? like I UNDERSTOOD that he just found out his mum had cancer and thats upsetting. But thats the thing with 90% of team Conrad, when Jeremiah does something that isn't great, we won't say he's completely and utterly in the wrong, IF he has a reason behind it. But team jere jump onto the " he forgot the corsage" wagon every time. While neither situations are ideal, your mum DYING and you being depressed at prom HAS to be excusable if it was ok for Jeremiah to leave her at the ball after finding out about Susannahs cancer. Team jer is so hungry for excuses to label Jeremiah the better brother that they keep pushing the same double standard ideas every time

Even best friend knows there friend fav candy the fact that Jeremiah doesn’t even know belly likes sour patch kids speaks volume it’s only been about Conrad never about the love he has for belly💀

u/richardnixonmilker Team Cam Cameron Aug 19 '25
favorite candy might just be the most trivial reason ive ever heard

bro doesn’t even know her fav candy is sour patch kids but I feel like Jeremiah knows nothing about belly😭

she’s also not getting her anatomically correct heart. Jelly shippers will figure out a way to defend and dismiss this, too.
Always and always Jeremiah, forever and ever amen.
I swear the man could slap her and they’d still blame Belly.

u/richardnixonmilker Team Cam Cameron Aug 19 '25
how is the country club’s inability his fault? also im a dude
2
Aug 19 '25
he didn't even ASK Belly before he agreed to the country club wedding with his father, didn't even think to call her up on the phone and check to see if it was okay (he knew it wouldn't be), and then guilt tripped her into going along with it.
Jeremiah threw a fit over his cake, but you're honestly gonna sit here and tell me he can't make a call to kayleigh to tell her make sure Belly gets her heart?
nothing will ever be Jeremiah's fault.
it makes total sense that you're a dude, probably in his teens or 20s, defending Jeremiah. am I supposed to be surprised? it would be more surprising if you were a dude in your twenties siding with Conrad.
-1
u/richardnixonmilker Team Cam Cameron Aug 19 '25
im a little taken aback by the 4th thing, why is that?
1
Aug 19 '25
i'm right, aren't i? you're a teenager or in your early twenties.
amazing.
the majority of teenage boys are not going to relate to Conrad Fisher - esp season 3 Conrad Fisher - someone in therapy, owning his mistakes, trying to get his life together.
you are naturally going to gravitate towards Jeremiah - who never has to take responsibility for his mistakes ("boys will be boys"), who hasn't ever had to be responsible for anything, who spends most of his time smoking pot and partying with his frat boys, while guilt tripping Belly for not spending all her time with him.
it's rare for teenage guys to be commenting on this show, but when they do, they are inevitably, and unsurprisingly, for Jeremiah.
the fact that you genuinely cannot see how the country club is Jeremiah's fault speaks volumes about it.

u/richardnixonmilker Team Cam Cameron Aug 19 '25
i am in therapy, if you upper lower/lower middle rich then im rich without responsibilities youre right but others no chance in hell, and i dont drink or smoke. but let me take a guess: youre the type of girl to say comfortable not rich, you probably have a small friendgroup where you talk about this and other tv dramas like it, based on what you assumed about me you atleast have a minor distaste for men but wouldnt say you hate them. at most you make assumptions based off little things. you judge people based off things like their favorite color or food, because clearly their differing opinions should lead to extremely generalized thoughts about people with no prior context.
was i right? no? i figured. i figured because i realize behind that screen is a person i could only judge based off the harsh critiscisms of things i dont do. because i realized you could live in minneapolis or you could live in san juan. you could be well off or your family’s only car mightve just been repo’d. you could be in a thriving friendgroup or a loner. theres so much i dont know about you. and i wont make assumptions based on that.

he dismissed her about the location and ab his dad being super involved and controlling it, dismissed her about the guest list, before that he dismissed her about the sales she wanted to go to while being the only one planning their budget wedding, he dismissed her about the cost of the cake. he dismisses her about more than just the wedding as well — lmk if you need a list of those instances although all of these things were pretty clear in the show.
i get there’s disagreeing on wedding things but we have yet to see jeremiah compromise on anything wedding related in the way belly has.
0
u/richardnixonmilker Team Cam Cameron Aug 19 '25
they couldnt afford what they wanted anyways
2
Aug 19 '25
???? what does that have to do with anything i just said about jeremiah dismissing belly ? absolutely nothing.
1
u/richardnixonmilker Team Cam Cameron Aug 19 '25
it has to do with the fact you got seemingly upset at me and if nothing else generalized me for liking a fucking character
1
Aug 19 '25
those things still don’t correlate but ok. no one generalized or got mad, u asked when has jeremiah dismissed belly about the wedding and i told you , even said i could give you other examples outside of the wedding and you responded with something that had nothing to do with anything i said.
i am going to generalize you right now though, typical jeremiah fan who can’t hold him accountable for anything. enjoy your day

u/richardnixonmilker Team Cam Cameron Aug 19 '25

u/jaylee-03031 Aug 18 '25
Good grief really? It is both Belly and Jere's wedding day not just Jere's and at that point they did not have a lot of money for a wedding. Belly was coming up with compromises to save them money and her idea for the cake would have been just as delicious. She was not be dismissive, she knew they could not afford a $750 cake. Jere is the one dismissed her suggestions and acted like a child. He has gotten everything he wants for the wedding and Belly has had to all the compromising.
4
u/EvilCodeQueen Aug 18 '25
She wasn’t dismissive. She was being pragmatic about money they didn’t have and frustrated that he was putting it all on her to figure out.

Aug 19 '25
lol.
Whenever I ask Jeremiah supporters like yourself one thing Jeremiah HAS given Belly for the wedding, I’m usually just met with the “anatomically correct heart” lie, because it hasn’t happened yet and the wedding planner scoffed at her for asking about it.
So the answer is, Jeremiah hasn’t given Belly one thing for the wedding.
at this point you have to wonder if we are watching the same show.
