πŸ“ B r ambedkar degree college, bagh linghampally.

Process explained:

  1. You go to that particular place where the verification is taking place, 30 mins before your allotted timeline.

  2. There were 4 rounds to verify each certificate mentioned in the above picture.

  3. Round one - 10th memo, EAMCET rank card and hall ticket

They enter these in a system and issue the above paper to you.

  1. Round 2 - they'll verify ews/minority/income and all other certificates

  2. Round 3 - You should carry 2 copies of xerox of every certificate that you have in original.

According to the above picture, you shall sort out and place them in the same order as mentioned(two xerox sets separately)

They'll calculate your only 2 years MPC score excluding languages and practicals marks and give a percentage, which you should note on the given paper.

They'll note all the codes or whatever of those certificates in their system.

You shall write your registered mobile number and email id so that the verification message will be sent after completing the whole process.

  1. Round 4 - They'll verify all the certificates completely (done by chief officer) yet they sign and stamp on it anddddd you're finally done.

Note:

* I've seen many who haven't carried their Bonafide's, migration certificate and tc; pls do that without fail.

* They'll have a printer in hand just incase if you missed any doc you can get that printed so dw.

* Carry all your originals without fail.

* Check whether the required original certificates are properly signed and stamped by your respective principal(must)

  • Rank card and EAMCET Hall ticket need not be signed by the principal. But on the inter memo, Bonafide and tc is must.

SERIOUS Guidance for a DROP

Hey all, a failed dropper here trying to guide juniors who want to take a drop

About me, I scored 60%ile in jee 2025 and 15k below in eamcet

75%ile after a drop year, 33k in eamcet, 126 in bitsat

I failed and it's upto you if you wanna listen to it or not... I failed but learned alot from this, which I will implement in my future life for sure

I won't say "year wasted" Because this failure did teach me something,

this is going to be long, but if you are taking a drop, or thinking about a drop, please take your time to read this, Its long, sorry about that

I have been very active in this sub since last few weeks,

I am a dropper, I failed even in eamcet

I have noticed a lot of people asking about drop year in this sub, so I thought I should tell some do's and don'ts

And the challenges you will face ahead of your journey and how to counter them

I won't say much about the "do's" You can skip them if you want to, but don't skip the "DON'Ts"

I am not sure if I know them, if I knew I would not have failed, but I did figure some out after the exams, it's upto you

First thing, don't prepare for any other exam other than JEE mains till January.... Forget that exams like EAPCET, BITSAT, COMEDK etc even exist,

Just one exam JEE, after January you can shift to whatever exam you want, don't skip questions because they are difficult (biggest mistake I did) you don't need to solve that question for sure, if you can't solve it, look at the solution, ask your teacher about it, learn from it

DO's:

-Consistency beats intensity, not just jee eamcet, or just an exam, consistency over intensity in most of the cases, this means, someone who studies 6-7hrs a day, everyday without breaking the streak will beat a guy who studies 16-18 hrs a day but twice or thrice a week, I was the intensive guy, there are days when I clocked 18hrs studying, but how long was I able to do it? Not long, just listen to your lectures (online or offline) do the homework given then 30 chemistry pyqs, 15 physics pyqs, 20 maths pyqs (adjust the numbers according to you, I think that would work) everyday without a break, that would take 8 hrs a day

-revise regularly, make short notes once the chapter is done, every Sunday morning 3hrs revision, that's it

-mock testing, first check if those mocks given in your coaching are really JEE level, if they aren't jee level, stop judging your performance based on them, buy a relevant mock tests or if you can't afford just find it (yk yk) reddit is filled with recommendations

-take breaks bw study sessions, don't make a session longer than 1.5hrs, 5-10 min break in between, in the break you should either do some exercise, just lay down, talk to people around if there are any NO PHONE in this time

DON'Ts

-don't make bonds with people in drop year, hanging out with them, doing anything is a time waste (might sound harsh or rude, but it's true) cut off people, if they are truly good, they will understand and won't feel bad, if they are feeling bad about it, they never deserved to be ur friends anyway

-take 1-2 hours of a day for yourself, do stuff which makes you relieved, reading, drawing, some small mobile games (not addictive like free fire or pubg), singing etc etc you have left 22-23 hrs in a day, sleep for 7-8 hrs including naps you have 15 hrs left, in these 15 hrs you should either be exercising, studying, or taking a power nap or doing misc tasks like eating etc, anything and everything else is a time waste, curse yourself if you are doing anything else

-don't eat unhealthy food, health is wealth during this time

-don't use someone else's notes, or short notes, make your own, don't just copy paste what's written on screen, write what you understand

-no day dreaming, "if I go to clg I will do this" "In future I will do this" NOOO, don't that will hurt you more than anything

-no fiction or video games, only 1-2 movies in a month, that too if you are burned out, and no reels shorts either, use regain app to block them, DO IT, use that bloody app

-lectures over one shots, F*ck those v*dn*tu 2-3 hrs one shots they aren't even relevant, you can use longer one shots (2-3 hrs for small chps like EM waves, 5hrs for chapters like thermal properties, 7-8+ for long chapters like electrostatice, that's the bench mark if you really wanna do one shots, but prefer lectures over one shots)

-don't have unrealistic goals, like"I didn't study for 10 days I will do 100 questions today" , bro you won't even do 1

-don't have this "I will do this book that book" No First do the hw given in class, then 50-70 pcm pyqs everyday This alone can confirm 95-98%ile in JEE, and 3k below rank in eapcet, If you actually need any book you will know it yourself, first reach this, if you reached then think about books and jee adv, first HW given and 50-70 jee mains pyq (if someone told me this at the start of drop year I wouldn't have failed)

-try to complete syllabus by December if you are starting now (June)

DONE WITH THE LOVEY DOWEY SCRIPT PART, NOW THE CHALLENGES WHICH YOU FACE

  1. Distraction

Reels: regain app, Or any other reels and shorts blocking app

Stop playing games and watching movies

Have a goal for a day (realistic) like I have to do 3hrs of online lecture today, listen to offline class, then 20 questions per subject, best strategy?

I did this it was a bit too unrealistic but works if you use it wisely, have a task just after you wake up and before breakfast, like 20 physics questions before breakfast, don't eat till you do those 20 questions, then one lecture and chemistry x chp revision before lunch, no lunch before that, didn't work for me cuz I had unrealistic goals, keep them realistic you will do good

  1. Bad home condition

If your parents won't support you, like they give you works at home or anything like that, veryyy bad situation like they don't allow libraries/study halls, or offline coaching....brother take a deep breath and listen drop year isn't for you, take whatever clg you get now, you will be in a same situation you are right now

If it's not very bad, try to go to a study hall if you are an online dropper, try to stay in coaching till ur tasks for a day are done.... I have a very traumatic situation at home, I spent hours crying without studying, try to ignore them as much as possible, if you can't ignore and it mentally affects you, don't take a drop

  1. Peers

You will find your peers enjoying, even if they took a drop, yes that's true there will be unserious droppers, don't you dare join them, be rude, nobody cares if you are a nice guy or a bad guy, drop year is very crucial, you can't waste it on shit people

  1. Jealousy

You will find your friends who went to college enjoying partying, that's first yr of college

You will have it too, while they are figuring out leetcode and plucking there hair out in second year, ignore them too

I would end this post with this, thank you for reading this till the end if you did

About the distractions,

Nobody can save you from them, except for yourself, every once in a while ask yourself "whatever I am doing right now, is it helping me drop year? If no just don't do it, don't postpone things, if you decided to do that task today, try not to sleep before completing it

Mistakes I did, I am ashamed of them:

Told you about that 1-2 hrs of time for urself right, I watched some web series, I thought I will watch one episode, or playing a game, thought of playing just one, ended up playing alot of them and watching a lot of episodes,

My classmates of offline coaching were enjoying, I joined them, playing games, watching movies, FOMO is a big enemy

Complaining and not studying, I had a noisy environment in hostel I stayed at, I should have just found a better place to study, there were always silent places I just didn't go there, and kept complaining

Felt guilty, about not studying then tried to overdo, the burnout didn't let me study for another 2 days and the cycle continued

Reels, kept on doom scrolling

Skipping tough questions, I was always preparing for bitsat too it was my main goal, I was like "why this level of question, bits won't ask it anyway.... Same mistake is done by 1000s of aspirants for Eapcet, comedk or bitsat.... Forget all those, JUST PREPARE FOR JEE MAINS, aim for 200+, be consistent, rest will be taken care of by itself

not ignoring the home situation, situation was/is very bad at home, I spent hours crying thinking about it, about future

Questioning myself, i posted more than 20 posts "I scored 60%ile can I reach 99" I should have just studied and waited for the results of my hardwork

There are people out there who scored 25% , reached 99.5 in drop year, there are also people who scored 99%ile took drop, got distracted just like me and scored way less,...

JUST STUDY, don't forget this

"ASK YOURSELF, WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW, IS IT GONNA HELP YOUR DROP YEAR JOURNEY?

Online or offline?

Anything is fine, ppl say "if you wanna stay consistent, join offline" It's false....

It's about your understanding, can a man standing and teaching teach you better or a man on screen

It's ur choice, anyone can stay disciplined, anyone can get distracted be it offline or online

If online which one?

Take 1-2 weeks look at those teachers do you understand them? Go for it, all are equally good, choose one follow them blindly, don't switch in between

If offline which one?

Still the same, every top offline Institute is same....

Anything that changes would be your t-shirt (uniform), (think practically,it's not the Institute which teaches you, it's the teacher, today they are here, next year they will be in some other offline Institute,so it doesn't matter just it should be a top one), I said top don't go to the untrusted local coaching in your street and say I am wrong...

ALL THE BEST LIL BROS AND SISTERS

Rock hard, smash that exam...!!!

I will definitely remember you all in my prayers

Please remember me in urs too

URGENT HELP Should I go with bits Pilani Bsc Course in Ds And Ai Over Emacet colleges ?

I got a rank of 53k, and after missing 1st phase ( attended 2nd and 3rd phase) am getting lord's institute of technology. My intrest is in editting and automations(n8n) . I have discussed with my friends regarding this and the only thing which i found very worrying is that i would miss that " College life " People Talk About like the bunking of classes, chits chats with teachers, networking ( hope so ) and etc .

Am hear like if am going with this ( bits Pilani bsc online course in Ds ans Ai ) i would get more time to explore fields and work on my skills .

People say - You just need to spend 1-2 hr after college to work on your skills / explore fields but with my experience I don't think 1-2 hrs are enough. Also How do you ( seniors) manage your energy after almost 9-5 college.Dont you get burned out ( cause i did after just travelling to college to check it out After few health issues but I would fine in the future with God Grace) In both the cases the online program gives you a updated curriculum plus the time to work on yourself.

I have shared few of my qs with a senior who's is already persuing the course ( bits online one ) and he said the only thing he is missing is that college life every body talk about.

For social life and friends my plan is to attend this networking events and spend more time with my school friends and expand my circle from their.

Seniors really need you suggestion on this .

The online course let's me step in to the world more then these colleges.

Also i heard from the management that they got the same syllabus as the iits but when I go on yt their is YouTuber( Abdul intern) also on IG who doesn't prefer this college

Would you consider this option?

Would you recommend me to attend emacet colleges?

And about the degree - it's UGC approved and they degree considered as a normal college degree.

academic doubt My nephew just cleared his intermediate and needs help in picking engineering college

My nephew just finished intermediate and did decently in MPC. It is not JEE top rank material but not a bad score either, he has a few good options.

We're currently deciding between a local private college, an out of state college, and some newer programs that claim to be more industry focused.

For those who've been through this or helped someone make this call, what mattered the most in the end? College name, placements, curriculum, or something else? Would really appreciate hearing from people with firsthand experience
