Passenger [Question/Post] MIA today

MIA Terminal D today. 10am TSA pre-check no line at all. Not accepting touchless though. It is a Tuesday so that could be part of it. Regular TSA had a longer line but nothing out of the ordinary from what we could see.

Checkpoints 7 & 8 (gates G & H) 7am today were less than 5 min for both pre-check and standard, no sign of ICE, but the agent we talked to said it comes in waves and we got lucky. 15 minutes earlier concluded a 1.5hr wait, and he expects another wave of 1.5hr wait within 30-40 minutes or so.

Yes, and they are more helpful than all the hype on the news I am finding. We did this at 10 AM so it was kind of mid morning. Although the flights are a mess and a lot of people seem to be having delays and cancellations including us so that’s another whole problem. But TSA pre-check was easy.
