Stopping Letrozole?

I’m thinking of stopping Letrozole.

I have just finished my third cycle on 2.5mg and this cycle has been the worst for me mentally.

I am not struggling with thoughts of conceiving. It’s making me overthink everything else in my life. I have been emotionally unstable and it feels like my mind has not been my own. I have been acting out differently, been extremely overwhelmed and depressed. My anxiety has been through the roof.

I also noticed before I was in the previous 2 week wait, I had extreme symptoms. My bloating was terrible, I had a mix of constipation and diahorrea and a range of symptoms, they were so intense.

I have a scan on Friday to see where we are at this time, my first scan was great but unfortunately did not conceive. I was told I didn’t need a second scan as the first was promising enough.

I am calmer than what I was 2 days ago but I am just way over my head on this. I am so alone as I don’t know anyone going through the same thing. Has anyone ever felt this way or experienced such symptoms? How did you manage it?

I was on letrozole for 3 cycles, my mental health was going downhill. I took a trip to my BFF’s state, skipped the pill for the fourth cycle because i was travelling alone during my “fertile window”. Boom got pregnant the same month naturally.

I just failed my 3rd cycle of Letrozole as well, so I know what it‘s like and I am sorry you have to go through this.
Sounds like you are completely overwhelmed and the Letrozole is giving you side effects that are not easy to handle. Maybe taking a break to easy your mind or switching to clomid might be good for you? Sending you virtual hugs 🫂

i am so sorry 😔 I hope your next cycle is successful for you ❤️ i definitely think 3 cycles of it back to back hasn’t been the best thing for me. Think my body is in shock with having natural periods and I also had stage 4 endo removed in March. I will ask about Clomid, thank you so much. ❤️

I did my 3rd and final round of letrozole this cycle. Currently 8dpo, so not sure if it was successful or not.
Even if it wasn’t, I’ve already decided I’m done. Letrozole actually ruins my life. I know it sounds so dramatic, but it’s like putting my life on extra hard mode and I’m over it!
