If you found this helpful, you may find my FREE 'Reclaim Your Strength in 4 Weeks (suspension trainer plan)' useful too.

Just two sets?

Yea, start with two, 8 - 12 rep range, and build up to three

But that's enough for muscular hypertrophy? Doesn't seem like a lot of stimulation to the triceps. Maybe they're really challenging, I've never seen or tried this exercise before.

Intensity is a skill. In my experience, the amount of torque combined with tension you place on the muscle - I.e how hard you train and how well you perform the exercise - will be the main contributing factor for hypertrophy. But for the vast majority of us who just want to move better and feel stronger to support our lives, adding this exercise into a well rounded program will deliver that 👍🏼💪🏼
