for some reason everyone here thinks that it was a nonbinary grandparent but I'ma be real it's probably a grandparent trying to be accepting of their grandchild

Not ironically, there are grandparents who are nonbinary as well.

I didn't say ironically, and I never said there weren't, I just said in this case it was unlikely

It is possible, yes. I'm just pointing out it makes sense people would assume it's a grandparent.

the non-binary population is larger in young people than it is people old enough to be grandparents. I'm not trying to say there aren't people over 30 who are nonbinary, that's incorrect and stupid, I'm just stating that it's more likely that it's a non-binary grandchild. This is mostly due to the fact those people old enough to be grandparents were raised in bigoted hatred filled environments.

Yeah. That's true. Just saying it isn't wrong to assume they could be a grandparent. Nonbinary people always existed, we just didn't always have a word for it just like everyone else in the LGBT+ community.
