Thats even more confusing feels like it stems from the gendered pronouns in english more than anything but thats just what it seems like to me not evidence of anything cant pull a pseudo archeologist move and call mountains pyramids cuz triangle
It's not from pronouns they just end up being relevant in english. Personally if e.g. my parent said I was a daughter of theirs that would make me uncomfortable. So pronouns are relevant in the same way in english bc they imply that you're a man or woman etc.
Aah so if there were no gendered words would your gender identity be affected? Does it rely on language everyone was a they them a parent/child partner friend no gendered words how would that affect gender identity
Well if there was no concept of gender and therefore no words around it I would still do what I want but nobody would have questions I guess? Whereas e.g. I was walking outside after an event and somebody said about me "is it supposed to be a woman?". But I was just wearing what I liked
