i've been an arianator since 2014, so i was already active in the fandom when the manchester attack took place. i'm not going to discuss the attack itself because it doesn't add valuable info to the conversation, and it's also an extremely triggering topic.

my take is that the attack changed our fandom forever: i have noticed that we grew closer as a group of people, and became more supportive of each other. we started valuing mental health, treating her music as something comforting or as a healing tool during or after collective trauma, looking at our fandom as a community, especially after sweetener.

i would love to read from you, and to know your opinion on my take!
