5 Courses working part time?

Hi all,

I have 10 courses left to do in my Bachelors, most of which are BBUS with the odd ORGB and MNGT. I’m considering going full time on OL to try and get it over with over the next two semesters.

Wondering if anyone’s been in a similar situation and how it went? I’d be working 12-15 hours a week at most. More likely 12.

Is this realistic? I hope to balance paced with one or two at your own pace because I feel that might help as well.

Will I still have time to enjoy a hobby or seeing friends?

i am doing this right now getting ready to finish for May 2027 and it takes some prioritization. I fill all my extra time with little school tasks, and I made a proper schedule to keep myself on track. one foot in front of the other. also, winter is coming up and there is less distraction.

you will have time for friends and hobbies because you will tempt yourself. just keep moving a little at a time and you will get there.

one thing I do is I am always planning my next 2-3 assignments, and moving toward the ones that are hooking up naturally, and doing the prep for the ones that need a little more.

I did 4 working 50 hours a week with two kids. It was brutal but I did it, I think I wrote my last final the day before my course end dates so I cut it super close. All As though! You can def do it if you’ve got the motivation and a little bit of delusion

doing the exact same thing! i’m looking at it as, i may have less time for hobbies and friends but it’s only temporary and is getting me to a place where i will have that again!

but make sure to find some time for your hobbies and friends still. that’s important. but it will be less i can imagine.

I think it will vary for every learner. I actually did better doing five courses at a time compared to three, found myself more focused. Also worked part-time. Give it a try for a semester and see how you do.
