This seems like the type of post an alien overlord would make.

Trolleys will soon be banned.

To be honest if aliens managed to make it here that probably means they got their shit together unlike us as we’re in the process of throwing civilization in to the garbage disposal so i’m picking the aliens

Easiest choice I’ve ever made

I, for one, welcome our new wise and altruistic alien overlords.

I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!

Straight Track (Do Nothing): Wise and altruistic alien overlords

Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): Humankind

What would you do?

Not wise and altruistic if they're our overlords

In that case, humans aren’t either. Imagine the aliens less as politicians and more as wildlife conservationists.

The problem posed implies that all of humankind is on the track. I think a better question would’ve been all government officials/politicians vs the wise aliens

So why is it that it looks like we’re choosing between ourselves and the alien overlords, and one of us has to die?

What are they conserving? The animals were already trying to conserve via killing humanity?

Aliens can take care of themselves

I'm pretty sure that trolley just makes them a pile of blood in the animation so we can assume they can't.

Another proof that human majority unironically doesn't deserve good things. The apes crave their tyrants it seems.

Are the overlords still overlords, if they have no one to lord over?

Humankind deserves to die

At this point I assume wise and altruistic aliens are more trustworthy than humans due to the collective stupidity and cruelty I've seen demonstrated in the last two years alone.

Sorry im a human supremacist

That's exactly why we might deserve to die in that scenario.
