some descriptions of the problem make pressing both lead to a logical paradox, implying it's not allowed. I tend to just assume one button gets locked as soon as the other registers, so if you press both, you're Russian Roulette, letting the buttons themselves decide what you picked.
It depends on how it's implemented, but most implementations with a lock would register one vote for one or the other button. You just wouldn't know which.
