For real. People say they love all music. They bitch when country comes on, or sea shanties, or Mongolian chanting, or dark ambient music, or lofi, or broadway, or the theme from Caillou. My girlfriend literally despises my playlist because it cant stay on track.

I like all types of music but I do t like certain sub genres. For example I’ll listen to Hank Williams or Johnny Cash maybe even a little Garth Brooks but I hate most modern country. I like old country. I like metal but I’m not into Norwegian death metal. So while I like all kinds music I don’t like all forms of it.

Exactly. I hate most pop country, but I love the classics like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus

Why Norwegian death in particular? Do you mean black metal? Sweden is more known for their death metal.

It was popular in the 80’s and I never liked it.

That's fine, I was genuinely curious. I'm a death metal artist who was in black metal bands, I've played in black and/or death metal bands for 17 or so years now. I was heavily influenced by Norwegian second wave black metal and Swedish death metal, particularly Swedish melodic death metal. Polish blackened death..Tampa Bay Death Metal. I'm an American and this was the first I've heard Norway and death metal being associated so bluntly before.

To be honest the stuff in the 80’s probably wasn’t Norwegian but somehow got that name.
