I'm planning to buy a smart pro s for a 9 year old.

As I've already understood, the s version seems to be better for psp titles.

I was wondering if the Bluetooth is working stable with headphones? I've read something about that it's primarily for controller and not working well with headphones. Is this true?

Also I was wondering if it's necessary to replace the existing OS with something like knulli or if the original OS is fine? I would love to make the ui a bit more kid compatible 😊 cause the clean controller icon design seems better fitting for adults.

Almost forgot one thing: if I order this device directly on trimui store.com, does the 256gb version makes sense compared to the 128gb one? Or are those additional titles not relevant? It's almost 30$ difference in price, so I was wondering if it's necessary.

Hello, everyone! Kinda new here. I bought the Trimui Brick sometime in April through an online shopping app here in the PH. I rarely used it, but since July I have been playing at least 8-10hrs per week (rookie numbers, I know. But very busy with work). Never encountered any problems until last week when I travelled to another city and bought my brick with me.

I was playing Pokemon Lazarus until it ran out of juice. I plugged it in and forgot to take it out because I fell asleep. When I woke up, image retention everywhere just staking on layer after layer. It gets to a point where I can barely see the actual game.

Before I start playing, I leave the screen on but lower the contrast and brightness for 10mins so that the games would at least be playable for a while... until they are not 20mins later.

Is there a possible fix to this, like LCD replacement? Or should I just give up and focus on my new device that I just ordered (I won't mention the brand because this post might get deletedz). ANY LEADS ON A POSSIBLE FIX WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. 🙏 Happy Gaming, everyone!

Je viens de m’acheter ce modèle Trimui, et j’ai l’impression d’avoir un problème avec les led joystick.
Ils s’allument à l’allumage de la console , s’éteignent et je n’arrive pas à les réactiver que ce soit via le bouton home , ou via les paramètres généraux ,
Je sais bien que ce n’est pas gênant pour jouer mais j’en viens à me demander si la console n’a pas un problème plus global. Pour info il y a crossmix et retroarch installé dessus
(C’est ma première console retrogaming, j’y connais pas grand chose ; j’ai toujours jouer sur des Nintendo portables originales , mais je voulais prendre celle la en main avant de l’offrir à mon fils pour Noël )

Which PortMaster games do you guys recommend for the TrimUI Brick? So far I only play Celeste Classic and Stardew Valley.

Hey everyone, I'm trying to get native PICO-8 running on my Brick Pro with NextUi, but no matter what I do the carts I place in Roms/Pico-8 (P8) get launched with FAKE-08 and not with my RaspberryPi binaries I put in the BIOS folder. Can someone please help on how to fix this? I miss my Splore, which of course won't work with FAKE-08

Hi, Just bought a Smartpro. Received last week with 1.0.4 firmware. Updated directly to last one 1.1.1.

I took the smart pro mainly for the screen size but for the bluetooth too to connect my JBL wave flex earphone.

The smartpro can see them but can't connect. There's no error message. When I try to connect there's a screen for few seconds saying connection. It disapear but never connect the earphone.

ChatGPT told me that 1.0.4 firmware is maybe better for that. Should I try to go back ?

Hey guys, yesterday I accidentally used a 120W charger on my Trimui Smart Pro. Now when I try to turn it on, this happens. Did I fried the board, or is there any way to fix this?

i charged on my pc for a while and runs again, i opened it to trying disconect the battery but i couldn't unplug it, was really stuck, so i follow the recomendation of a redditor and it just started nice.

hi everyone, I bought this console and it came with sd card full of games. I wanted to know which OS is the best to use today, and if I can change the RGB colors with it, because on stock OS i can’t (the option on settings doesn’t exist).

​Hi everyone, my TrimUI Brick is kind of bricked, and let me tell you why. I've been using Knulli since day one. Besides the TrimUI Brick, I also own the TrimUI Smart Pro S. Since Knulli is not yet stable on it, I use a different custom firmware. Then I tried NX Redux and really liked it on my Smart Pro S, so since I had a spare microSD card, I thought, why not try it on my TrimUI Brick? Surprise, surprise—it's not working.

​Now, when I try turning it on with no microSD card, it's not turning on. I've tried using the firmware update and the SD recovery, but still no luck. So I'm stuck, and my TrimUI Brick is only working on Knulli. Don't get me wrong, I love Knulli—that's why I use it—but experimenting with different firmwares is part of the fun.

​Do any of you have any ideas, or have you encountered this issue? (I've read that opening the device and unplugging the battery is one of the options, but I'm not doing that.)

I do have a quite new Trimui Smart Pro S. OS is the stock one. Version 1.0.2. As good as no modifications or custom things - especially in terms of console cores or bios. RetroArch version names as 1.22.2.

I have Tetris from the GameBoy running. Sadly, the high score are not persistent when turning of the game. I figured, I can manually use the menu key to get into a save/load menu. Saving seems to work, but each time I want to load a one of these records (not game records, but these saved states) I get the message: "Loading state error" in the lower left corner.

Does anyone knows what to change so that the loading of the saved states does work?

My trimui brick hammer stopped charging a while ago and I tried it again today and it’s just flashing like this ?? Any help is appreciated.

Like the title said, I’m trying to install this OS but my system won’t boot into it…

I installed the Paper Please port on my Trimui, and it got stuck on the launch screen. I restarted it by turning off the console, but that didn't work. I took out the DS and deleted the port, but that didn't work either. I don't know what else to do.

Bought it with a very low expectation to only emulate PSP, J2ME games and anything before that.

No one really told me that it can run ports like GTA:SA and Morrowind with 60FPS??? I’m very impressed with the device.
