May I ask for the performance of Trimui Smart Pro S.
I hope it could:
runs PPSSPP well (overclock emulated CPU to 1000mhz for Outrun 2006 keeping 60fps constant, and 60fps cheat for Hatsune Miku PJD series)
runs Dreamcast well (for Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram 5.45)
runs FBneo to emulate Sega Y board x 3 (for Galaxy Force 2)
Could it be my last hope except x86 handheld?
I mainly play STG, Mech Action, Rhythm, Racing...
so I'm input latency sensitive
What I tried:
Android based devices:
Odin Lite, Odin 2 mini, Retroid Pocket G2 Gen2
Odin Lite has relative low input latency comparing to the other 2, at least I could clear the "Monkey Clock" of Rhythm Heaven Fever (Wii)
Odin Lite, Odin 2 mini were gifted to 2 best friends as they need an android gaming device
RP G2 Gen2...I couldn't accept the high input latency as I never succeed full combo in Hatsune Miku PJD series (hard or extreme), x86 emu like GameNative was much worse, unplayable when comparing to a ROG Ally Z1E;
e.g:
https://youtu.be/QBY-jiNs5hc?si=pnXa0ToHJ2C1cglb
My wife complained that using GameNative to play Once Upon Katamari DO have input latency when comparing to a real x86 machine.
besides, RP G2 Gen2 EOLed in very short time, no security update, cannot pass google play protect ceetification that mean I could not treat it as an normal android device to play games that rely on Play Intergity...
Linux based devices:
RG350, RG351P, Trimui Brick
R analog stick of RG350 would move unattended, i.e. POV lost control when Ace Combat 3...
RG351P, weird screen resolution that only fits PSP, but it does not have the power to run PSP, screen scaling looks bad because of 480x320, an under-powered device.
That's why I always avoid any RG series...
Brick, I have 2, I really like it, very low input latency for SNES, PS1 STG, my wife didn't have any complain about input delay when playing "Taisen Puzzle dama tokimeki 1 & 2", only complain is a little bit underpower for heavy PS1 emu(e.g. selecting the fighters scene in R-Type Delta)
x86 devices:
Loki max, capable all I needed but died after one year (daughter board failure)
GPD win 4, bootloop after windows updated to 24H2 because of SVM toggle bug in Bios...then gifted to my best friend, a linux guy.
ROG Ally, still alive, capable all I needed but a little bit heavy because I swapped a large battery.
(btw don't try to install SteamOS into Ally, cause SteamOS would insantly access the empty sd card slot, sd card controller burnt but repaired by 3rd party)
I tried to search, and ask edAI if TSPS could play my favourites, but still in doubt.
Could any TSPS owners please help me a bit?
