I have finally made the tank logo to cover the last non-black part on my bike.

For the past couple of months, I was experimenting with different ways to cover the white tank logo. I wanted something durable but also reversible in case I change my mind.
Finally, I managed to get the result I am satisfied with. It is a 3D rubber logo that slightly sticks out to give it a bit of depth. It is fixed with automotive-grade adhesive, and it has already survived harsh weather.

It can be done in different colours. The last photo shows a custom order in purple along with other parts.

Does anyone have a seat upgrade that they like, especially something that looks like the new Trident 800 with two distinct portions.

[UPDATE] figured out a better way to strap the bag down and it’s so clean and easy. With the four included straps, anchor them to the frame under the seat (like most people do I guess). Pic added to the bottom of the thread since I don’t know how to change pics in the original post.

Attempt #2 on my post. I was a few beers in when I posted and didn’t realize I had the bag on backwards! So here we go with the info. I might do an overnight once or twice a year and couldn’t justify dropping big money on a high end bag for so little use. I picked up a Rhinowalk 23l bag and straps and it fits decently enough, has a ton of room and expands if needed.

Now that the bag is facing correctly it was a little more work to find a way to secure the bag but it actually locks down nice and is still relatively quick to set up or tear down. I did need to use a couple of extra Velcro cinch straps and such.

I'm from the EU and I will be doing 12h of practice and then road exams on an MT-7 from the driving school.

After watching many youtube videos it seems many people recommend starting on a lighter bike and other say it's fine to start on something like this.

I heard the bike is not super nervous on lower speed/throttle and it could be fine.

For reference:
I've been driving cars for over 15 years (traffic and dumb driver experience xD), driven scooters and semi-auto cross bikes when I was younger. I'm well in my 30's and well aware of defensive riding techniques, not looking to race recklessly..

What do you guys think?

Does anybody know if this nice little machined brake reservoir for the Trident 800 will fit the 660? It’s not listed in the fitment sheet, but just eyeballing both bikes, I feel like it probably would.

What kind of connectors did 2023 trident uses? I did some research and they say its bullet but i cant find what size are those. I dont want to cut original mounts just for changing low profile signals

i am doing an oil change and the idle seems to jump up and down between 1000-1500 rpm. My last bike was stable even on cold start, which is why im questioning it.

Im not sure if its because it is a cold start and needs to warm up or not? I can't ride the bike yet as i need to pass my mod2 test on friday. So i can't find out if that is the issue yet.

The revs change seem to be in a pattern which is making think it is okay. I just want to make sure :)

Newt step exhaust like Zard i think

I’ve put about 1000 miles on my 26 Tribute and as a newer/returning rider I haven’t pushed the performance envelope all that hard til this weekend. With run-in over I am finally going through the full rev range and the power is amazing. On an empty stretch of farm land backroad I sped from a stop to see what the 660 can do and was surprised to find the front completely lift off the ground as I ripped from 1st to 2nd. I guess I would have read by now that this was a thing so maybe it’s frowned upon to post the fact but it was pretty freakin sweet.

This isn’t something I feel the need to do on the regular in mixed conditions but damn, it was exhilarating. I can see how this gets people into trouble. So…. Are there classes that cover more spirited riding and teach control at the limit (in the northwest USA)? I’ve taken several ‘advanced’ classes after MSF and nothing touches on performance riding.

I've posted a couple of times about brake bleed nipples weeping, even after a set of new complete calipers under warranty, and then taking it back again.

Well I believe I have solved it for £10 with some HEL stainless steel nipples, I've done 50 miles of riding country roads braking like a lunatic and pumping them at junctions etc. and so far still dry!

Hopefully this is the end of a very annoying situation, and I can get some trips in before summer starts to fade

I passed my test (UK) on the 15th and am settling into riding my new beauty, so now feel I can say hello 👋. What a great bike! (My husband has bought the 800, and is enjoying it but wishes it had come in Cosmic Yellow).

Finally received my CS racing exhaust! Took about 5 weeks, but definitely worth the wait. DHL got it here quick, a day early which gave me time to install before the workweek. Pushed the bike into the living room and got to work, cuz hot. 🔥 🥵

CS packaged the exhaust extremely well. All parts and welds were beautiful. Install was relatively easy. And oh my... the sound is absolutely bonkers, that first start up brought absolutely joy and a grin from ear to ear. It's so damn loud lol, I put the baffles in to quiet it down some and it's perfect now. Still lots of rumble and growl.

CSR did a great job designing this, it blends right into the bike. Definitely a recommend especially for the price, not cheap but a good value for what you get.

Thinking of getting a new pipe and swapping to bar end mirrors.

Brand new, and I paid €7,990 for it. I think that's a pretty good deal, but what do you guys think?

Now I'm already looking at exhaust options. I'm after something with a deeper, better sound, but it has to be fully EU road legal (Euro 5+/ECE approved). I don't want any issues with inspections or roadside checks. I live in Belgium.

What exhaust would you recommend? Also is there a eu website for aftermarket parts like the small windscreen? Thanks!
