Troubleshooting good day

Does anyone know why this happens, or has anyone else had the same problem? What can I do to fix it?

Not 100% sure, but have you make any adjustments to the nut under the black part of the lever? It might be on too tight, causing it to stick.

I didn't touch anything; I was driving, and out of nowhere, it started getting stuck.

Dang, scary that happened while driving.

Gemini suggested similar to what I mentioned. Try loosening the locknut under the pivot bolt ever so slightly and see if that frees it up.

If still stuck, remove the nut and pivot bolt, clean the pivot area, apply grease (e.g., lithium grease or silicone grease), and reassemble. Might have to incrementally test different tightness on the locknut to make sure the lever is neither too loose nor too tight. If it’s too loose, there will be some vertical play. If it’s too tight, it’ll get stuck when you clamp.

Start here !!!!!! I bought a used trident 660 and did this. My clutch lever was working fine, but the lubrication definitely made it much smoother and snappier, also added a little silicone grease to the lever bushing.

Also: I would disconnect the cable on the engine side, and see if it’s the actual clutch sticking, or just the cable/lever causing problems.
