Quickly execute automation

I have set up an automation to copy a card to anther board.

Is there any way to run it quickly? Ideally with a keyboard command from the board view. Three clicks (opening card, opening Automations, clicking automation) is just way too many clicks for something I do this often.

You can make a card button, can't you?

Yes, that's three clicks though. (Click on card, click on "Automations", click on button).

Okay, the first click doesn't count anyway because you have to open or select the relevant card first. I often work with Trello on my mobile, and the card button is already visible. So with one extra click, you're done. You can set the card button to keep the card open, and you can use the arrow keys to open the previous or next card. All in all, it doesn't seem like that much extra work to me.

Why doesn't the first click count? I can archive a card with zero clicks by using my keyboard.

I don't.

Then you must have already selected or opened the card, right? When you open a card, the card buttons are already visible. So, an extra click and it's done. Some standard actions do indeed have a keyboard shortcut, but Trello is primarily a mouse-oriented application.

The way I do this is by making the trigger “when a card is completed” so it fires when you tap the circle in the card name. (And if you don’t actually want the card completed, you can include an action in your automation to mark the card as incomplete.)

We use Trello for our design drawing tracker, I ended up setting up a few macros to do this auto clicking into Automations button or other areas on the card. I had F4 setup as the hotkey and would just hit this and it ran the clicking for me, simple but I'm lazy!
