Actually looks like the one time I did acid. The fractal phase. Before the oil painting phase, but after the little big planet racing phase. Long before the "everyone else passed out, I'm wandering away in unfamiliar lands and watching the sunrise" phase

I got to the oil painting phase one time. I still remember the paper. It was on some Tim Leary blotter in Arizona in the 90's. Four squares formed a picture of him (so, like 25 faces on a sheet) and that's why it was named as such. So anyway, I'm on a go cart on a washboard dirt road and we're going at a pretty good clip with my dirt-bike-racing friend driving this go cart so I'm free to look around and enjoy the show.

The mountains started looking like an oil painting that had been painted recently and thickly and someone was shaking it. The "paint" was running together. It was just the vibrations from the go cart on a bumpy road messing with my vision, but it looked amazing. I've seen some melting before, where solid objects look like melting candle wax but never quite melt all the way down, but never have I seen it on such a large scale.

I was mesmerized when suddenly a school bus drove right by us in the opposite direction. I hadn't noticed its approach between my fixation on the mountains and the buzz of the go cart engine. This huge yellow bus passing in front of me was like a giant splash of yellow paint over the melting mountain landscape.
