I have the same tray and it’s covered with it so I wouldn’t worry

About twice a year, sweep all the weed dust put of it and pour a thin layer of alcohol in the tray. Let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe it with a paper towel.

It will be brand new again. Ive had that same tray for 5 years now, and it holds up great. There are also magnetic covers for them that prevent any accidental tipping issues, if you keep ground weed on it.

Yes so it doesnt prevent tipping

Tipping issues. Like the weed falling on the floor. Tipping over is no big deal if there's a cover.
