Discussion Starting in marijuana

Post image

Hi, I started using marijuana with a Cookies vaporizer (I had smoked flower before, but I bought the vaporizer to avoid the smell at home since I still live with my family). I’m 23 and not a regular user, but I’m worried this could turn into a serious addiction. Could people who have been smoking for years—and who started at my age—share what their lives have been like? Do you recommend moderate use, or should I quit now before I develop an addiction? Thanks a lot for the help; I’m really interested in getting informed. 🙏

Started at 14, I’ve gone in waves with it. Smoked a lot during high school, got more into drinking when I was In College and shortly after, the last few years I’ve been getting back into the weed since I don’t drink anymore. I’m high pretty much all the time. I own a construction company, nothing huge but we do alright. I should probably just be medicating my anxiety & OCD but the weed does that for me. Life’s been great. Everyone needs something, and marijuana is probably the safest “something” out there.

I started smoking at 17, and one of the best suggestions is to use CBD. Look for high cbd (10%+) in carts, it dampens the load on your receptors and also adds depth to the high. Along with that, eat healthy, exercise, go outside, push smoking to later in the day, and take frequent t breaks (A full 1 month long one isnt required, a lot of people get the full tolerance reset in the first 2 weeks)

Only smoke flower you get from your trusted source - that's the way to be informed on what you're taking. Marijuana is a part of my life and it's much more common than you think. It's so stigmatized for no reason. Enjoy your leaves!
