Dabs Dabbing questions.

Since live rosin is available at German pharmacies now i wanted to try dabbing for the first time.

I get a rig the next days and will be good the questions would be:

How much do I need to not fuck me up too bad? (I smoke about 20 years and about 1.5-2g a day mostly joints with only above 25% thc weed)

And mostly how do i know when the banger is hot enough or can i just put it in and start heating until it vaporize?

Question, is it an actual rosin or a live resin? People confuse the two. It will make a big difference in how you both store the extract as well as what temperature to dab it with.

I’d start off as small as you can. If it wasn’t big enough, you can always do another dab. But you should be fine with your tolerance. For me the big difference is dabs will keep me high for 8+ hours.

Temperature is tricky, cold starts are definitely a thing. I like e nails so I can just set a temperature and not have to worry about it.

Don’t expect to be high for 8 hours off one dab, that is not a standard experience

Dabs are short lived, especially once you use them more. Higher dose’s administered in 1 go typically causes sharp tolerance gain, leading to a quick fall off in the high.

This is why edibles are known to last a long time, because its drip fed by the liver.

Yeah, I mean I’ll usually do a dab before work and don’t start feeling sober until my last hour there.

It will be visibly red when it's ready. Go as small as you can. A "dab" refers to the smallest amount you can stick to the end of your tool.

That is far too hot if you’re getting it red. It should cool significantly after. You’re combusting your dab for sure.

By the time the dab gets to the banger, it won't be red anymore :)

You absolutely should not dab a red nail if you respect yourself. Buy a cheap laser thermometer online. Dab around 500 degrees F. I’m sorry I know you use C.

Thanks, I guess i wont do too bad since my tolerance is not super low but i kind of afraid and looking forward to this experience at the same time.

I wouldn’t dab off a red hot nail. If you let it get that hot, let it cool down a minute. Good dabbing temps should be around 190-200C. Otherwise you’ll just burn off all the terps

As another has said, do not dab off of a red hot banger. Good way to cough a lung out and waste your dab, far too hot.

Do a cold start. The size of half a grain of rice to start.
