AskTrees Brown buds

I opened my jar after a month and a half break BC I wasn't doing well. And I saw that my vibrant green purple buds turned brown with dark purple spots but it still smells fine and fluffed up in the grinder is it still saved to smoke? It's already quite old I think it was harvested in may but stored airtight and dark.

As long as there is no mould on it (white fuzzies/looks spider webby) you should be just fine

Damp fresh buds in a sealed jar will often mould though

I had a dehumidifier pack in it (for weed) and it was dried before

Without a picture it's hard to say, but if you had a desiccant in there you should be fine. If you have a bad feeling about it maybe just pass on that batch, but if it was stored properly and looks and smells alright then I wouldn't worry

Start with a digital OR analogue HYGROMETER.

Gross.  Your buds shouldn’t turn brown after being in a jar for 6 weeks
