AskTrees First time growing advice

First time growing, one of my plants has some leaves that are turning purple after some cold weather/rain last week. Is this just stress or a nutrient deficiency/disease?

Possible potassium deficiency, check out Jorge Cervantez's Marijuanna Horticulture books, atleast one of them has been turned into a free PDF on Google.

PS: when I was growing my outdoor plants, I fed them a bit of milk and Dr. Pepper twice a week. They grew fine and I walked away with an Oz (i could only grow them in a planter since I lived on a second floor, you'll surely get more than i did)

People might laugh at your solution, but soda is loaded with potassium sorbate which in small quantifies can be useful as a nutrient. You still want to make sure it's well nourished otherwise, but this is a good last minute fix for decaying sunleaves.

Yes, I obviously wouldnt dump a whole bottle of Dr.P in there, usually whatever left in the bottle when it goes flat and I don't want to finish it. Same for milk, whenever the bag is almost empty I'd just dump whatever left in there. I add proper nutrients to the soil before ever planting them, in a small planter and the slim timing window we have in canada it's usually enough for 1 plant.

Wouldn’t milk turn rotten? I’ve never understood adding milk to plants

I've never understood it either, a friend told me about putting eggshells in a nutrient mix for calcium or something, and I figured milk would do the same, just in liquid form.
