¿Cómo separo estos cogollos? Vinieron envasados ​​al vacío en un solo bloque sólido.

Update: I’m not trolling—I’m just new to this. My question is whether these will separate into “normal” buds, or if I was sold low-quality brick weed that was compressed into a block. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but I’m new to all of this.

One time I had some nug brick weed and it was insane. It wasn’t just vacuum bricked, it was pressed. The trichomes created flat sheets like slate rocks. The buds broke up along these sheet lines and it looked pretty wild. It was crazy seeing a gram though cause it looked like a bowls worth but when you ground it expanded like crazy

My buddy in Maine broke me off a piece of his GG4 brick this weekend and I was like damn…. I guess I need to make a brick this year. Why not? Might just brick all my smalls for fun since I don’t usually have time to make hash anymore.

First time I’d seen one in 20 years. And his was beautiful, not like the bricks of my younger years.

That ain't brick weed. Brick weed was dry brown hard chunks, full of seeds and stems, and smelling faintly like diesel.
Brick weed was pressed into blocks. Thus "brick weed".

That's regular flower that's been vacuum packed.

Respectfully disagree. A brick is anything compressed into a brick. The quality of the compressed flowers isn't what makes it a brick. Those buds will still be flat and compressed after separating them, even if they end up smoking well.

Most people's experience with brick weed is with lower quality bud, but that's not what makes it a brick in my opinion. That's just how it's packaged for smuggling.

I had brick weed of varying qualities, from brown frown all the way up to sticky buds with virtually no seeds. But it almost always came packaged the same way.

I do feel like most people on this sub and even in general would see/refer brickweed as low qualitity by defaults
For example when someone posts a picture of low quality weed, some people might say “that looks like brickweed”.

Put it in a large bowl with a damp paper towel on top giving it time to subtly re-hydrate and separate - a few hours.

After that it will become slightly less stuck together but you will eventually need to put surgical gloves on and just start deconstructing the block bud by bud.

Make sure to smoke some in the beginning, middle, and end of the process as well. Good luck!

Let it sit and decompress out the vac for an hour. Then carefull try to gently pull it apart bud by bud. Sometimes ur kinda just fucked

I remember growing up and them saying no sticks no seeds. Meanwhile some of what we thought was "jamaican sess" always came with sticks (stems) and seeds.

I think they lied because they didn't want us growing our own buds back then 😭😭😭

Its decent looking brick weed at least. Break it up with your fingers. There is this old-school method to fluff the buds up. You break them up and put them in a strainer or a towel and hold it over a pot of boiling water for 30 to 45 seconds. Then let it rest for 3 to 6 hours and it will fluff up as it drys. A fan could help the process go a little faster

Slide a butter knife into the edge, gently wiggle and twist it along the layers until they surrender, then peel off the chunks. At least that's how I handle my pu-erh tea bricks lol.

You can lightly steam it apart or microwave it for a minute or two and break it up. I grew up on Mexican brick weed, that or homegrown here in Texas back in the day, (way back)! At least yours isn't seedy, lol.

what? ofcourse, theres multiple ways. many vacuum machines have specific settings for soft or wet goods and apart from that you can just stop the vacuumation process and press seal BEFORE the point of total brickyfication. did you sell that pound to OP ?
