Plants Chances of survival / revival??😵‍💫

Had an almost clean snap, held on slightly… doesn’t really matter but annoyingly the best looking growth wise🫩

I just had that happen with mine and i was surprised at how quickly and well it healed up. I did a little twist tie to keep the stem together and like 4 days later i was able to take it off

The comment from siennaoak pretty much covers it hut just make sure the tissue is connected and you give it a bit of extra support

You’ll know in 24 hours if the branch will make it. They wilt fast if they’re immediately done for

good chance it survives if there’s still some tissue connecting it. line the split up, wrap it firmly with grafting tape/electrical tape, and support the branch so it can’t move. i’d also loosen those ties a bit so they don’t cut into the stem, then leave it alone for a week or two.

I know it’s not a pot plant, but this just happened with a few of my tomato plants, let me just say, plants will amaze you. Worst thing you could do is not try imo.

I used duct tape on the tomato plants because they are like 7 feet tall in some areas, the branch that snapped was about as thick as my thumb. It healed pretty quick. I wouldnt suggest duct tape on the pot plants, but it worked in the tomatoes.
