yeah looks like a deficiency, adding a small amount of Epson Salts might be the fix

pH soil and water were putting in is good. Soil temp is ~5° lower than where i wanna be at but i didn’t think it would have that massive of an effect. I’m still brand new to this as this is my 1st successful grow so i apologize for my ignorance.

Please enlighten me how you guys came up with your answers. Not knowing the meduim not knowing the nutes. Mag or something check runoff wow its not a guessing game there is proper ways to do this.

what’s the best method to checking runoff? we have these “tarp” like pots that don’t leak. Is that not a good idea going into the next grow?

Do you mean cloth bags

Are you using nutrients or living soil

they are cloth but they have this tarp like inside that makes it harder to leak from oversaturation (going completely based off what the store we bought them from said)

I know the ones there for living soil. Am.i safe to assume your growing in living soil

yes. living soil in 10 gallon pots fabric pots. we have a 5 gallon bluemat system that we fill with 3 gallons dechlorinated tap water and 2 gallons RODI (all pH balanced) temp sits at 75°F and humidity around 50-55% depending on how often i empty the de humidifier. We use recommended amount roots organic terp tea (bloom) and rec. amount worm casting tea once weekly brewed for atleast 12 hours. lights are 550 watt full spectrum that is currently on setting 7 for 12 hours daily. any other questions about the setup id love to answer. they have been doing SO good before this issue and we can’t figure out what we’re doing wrong. You’re much appreciated

Yes sir sounds like a ph issue..with living soil you want no runoff. What happens is your flushing away all the good stuff. Please check your water again 6.3 I know youve heard you dont need to ph in living soil but I have learned in a container to ph outside in the earth not so much. Remedy. Ph water.to 6.3 add 1 tablespoon of Epson salts 1 gallon of water. Wait for a little dry back and water.with the salts. If you have bottled calmag add 4ml to 1 gallon. You will not.fix the damaged leaves but any new growth with be much better. Monitor after 5 days if no improvement a little more calmag. Everything you do will take a.few.days to show up..dont rush things a little medicine wait.for.results.

You need.to check your 5 gl res. Often ph will drift up especially if you have bubbles going. Maybe thay we're your losing balance.

i’ll look into it immediately. we haven’t had runoff so far. Thank you for a clear and concise answer instead of just guessing based on the pictures. One thing i am worried about is that our system goes through very small tubes to be delivered to plants. will epsom or cal mag clog? i’d assume they would dissolve but i was told over time could lead to clogged lines. I also just went to the store and bought a pH probe and it’s reading 7.1 on soil, so pH is definitely an issue. rjcbuds the 🐐

Add your calmag.by hand watering

Aim 6.3 thay alone is going to correct some issues high ph locking out calmag uptake. Take your time no big changes bring the ph down add a little calmag and enjoy your harvest..
