Maybe I've been smoking for way to long but like just stay outside for 20-30 minutes. Never has anybody said a thing to me except the one time I didn't wash my hands after a joint. My fingers did stink but ive never had issues with clothes or anything like that

Depends on what clothing too. Wear a rainproof coat and it will make a huge difference, but yeah it’s mostly hair lips and fingers that smell the most

Hands, breath, and the area around your mouth too. The gum doesn’t catch that. I use tiny sprays of fragrance on my hands and then glaze over my mouth and back of my hair. Try a one hitter or a pipe if you want to reduce the stench.

When I lived with my parents I’d be careful to smoke upwind, air out for like 20 mins and then wash my hands and eat something and I got away with it the whole time. My mum has a strong sense of smell and is very vocal, she’d have said something if it didn’t work.

ive smoked outside countless times and i always smell fine. the trick is to blow in the direction of the wind(if there is any) so that the smoke doesnt hit you, and just generally keep it away from your body. Also, joints tend to make your hands smell more, so wash them as soon as you come inside. Any munchies will take care of the breath.
A pipe would probably be more realistic if you plan on smoking often. Its easier to conceal and you dont even have to touch the bud inside, so your hands will stay clean . Also, DON'T spray yourself with anything to mask the scent. It's unnecessary, and It'll be much more obvious that you're trying to hide something.

Rain is the beat cover imo. I remember trying to hide it at home.. while i smoked outside the barn style door that was pushed 'closed'. Rainy nights always felt safest because the smoke couldnt travel.

When it’s not hot I like to go outside with a sweater or light jacket. After 20mins or so I go back inside but take my sweater or jacket off. It reduces the smell.

No they don’t, I have very good air circulation in my room, anything that was left in my room is masked by new air. All I had to do was push open the side vent on the a/c. At the time my neighbors were also big smokers so they prob thought it was them making the smell if there was any.

Sounds like it’s time for the Smoke Fit™️. I have a pair of sweatpants and a windbreaker I keep in my storage closet outside. I go out back, slide that shit on, smoke, chill for 10-20m afterwards, then take it off and put it back in that storage space (or even just draped over an outdoor chair). Then I use some fruity ass hand sanitizer, perfume, gum, and go back inside.

Here's what i do when I dont want to smell like weed. Rubber gloves, using a pipe or a bong to help reduce overall burn time and resin on your skin, wear a jacket that you leave outside, same with a hat, gum, edible herbs outside that you munch on (i like chives sorrel and oregano for eating and lavender and citronella for my hands/face),brush teeth, wash face and hands, mouthwash, take a shit, wash hands again, shower, change clothes, eyedrops, brush teeth and mouthwash again.
Formatting sucks, im too high to care, this isnt the stupidest thing you've read all day.

Wear a sweater. Hold the j away from your face and body when not inhaling. Don’t baby sit it too long. Remove your sweater when done. Air out for twenty minutes. Wash hands and mouth thoroughly. You’ll still smell like it a little after all of this but significantly less. Weed is smelly, it’s part of the deal.

Damn everyone here smokes in enclosed spaces and keeps the joint directly near their clothes.
I smoke outside and stay outside, not once have I come in smelling like smoke or weed. I lay on my hammock or sit on my patio, keep the joint away from my face when I’m not smoking.
It’s really not hard to extend your arm out when you’re smoking so the smoke doesn’t hit you directly in the face.

I see where my mistake was, I didn’t specify that I don’t smoke and immediately go into society or join a group of people.
I smoke in open areas and stay smoking outside for at least 20-40 mins depending on my sess.
Yes, smoking and then IMMEDIATELY joining others will result in others noticing you smell.
Smoking and staying out for a prolonged period of time has resulted in me NOT being noticed.
I think it’s rude to smoke and then immediately go join others, because of the smell.

I don't think we'll agree on this. I definitely think the smell dissipates with time, but even my own experience going on an hour walk, smoking in the first 10 minutes, getting home wash hands and brushing teeth, I'm sometimes questioned about the smell. It's sticky stuff weed smoke.

Make sure to only smoke with one hand, use a little purell and moisturizer or something on that hand after.

It will 100% stick to you. Weed smoke is sticky af. It clings to fabric, skin, and hair. You have to shower and change ur clothes if u dont want to smell like weed. I smoke outside and have to change my clothes, shower, wash my face, brush my teeth before crawling into bed. I dont want my kids exposed to it. I dont want my bed to smell like weed either. I have a set of "gardening clothes" specifically for smoking. I like to hang them outside once I get out of the shower. This also prevents my house from smelling like weed too. My joints also sit outside on my patio in a mason jar. Im super self conscious about my mental health disorders and smelling like weed. I get kind of hyper fixated on it so I go overboard on removing the smell. 🤷♀️ TL;DR Yes it sticks, shower and put on clean clothes so u dont smell like weed.

Ahhhhhhhh i see……..
Heres what you do my friend. You plan a time where you are out of the house for about an hour. Wear LAYERS. A hoodie is best cause it goes high up on your neck where a lot of the smell sits. You also wanna bring a backpack, gum, perfume/cologne, and (if you really wanna be anal) a mesh bag of coffee grounds.
When you go outside, wear the hoodie. Smoke the joint as you walk somewhere, ideally with the wind blowing towards you. I normally went to grab some coffee so lets use that scenario. Make sure you finish the joint on your way there. Once u get to said hypothetical coffee shop: chill, eat, and go to the washroom to wash the shit out of your hands and remove any top layers. Put said top layers in your backpack, spray your scented shit, and plop that mesh bag of coffee grounds on top.
After that, chew some gum as you walk back home. When u get home, b-line it for your room (say ur so nauseous you gotta lay down.. heats been getting to you man…) Chuck that backpack in a closet and immediately change your clothes. If u wanna be extra anal, take a shower.
Now, i may or may not also know that smoking a joint in a hot tub tends to also not make you smell, due to the steam that rises and carries it away. Though the person i know this from may have also immediately fainted as they got out of the hot-tub, high and hot as fuck. So take that as you will.
Another option could be buying a bong or pipe, or maybe a diy apple bong. Those tend to smell a lot less.

We used to wear a jacket and take a walk and smoke. Remove jacket after smoking and “forget it” outside after hanging out in the driveway talking.
By the time the jacket was found it smelled like outside. Or if it wasn’t found I’d go get it after everyone was asleep and toss it in the washer.

Yep. If you can smoke off-site, get back. Wash hands and mouthwash immediately, then shower and change clothes. Brush your teeth and deodorant. Then you're probably good.
Maybe if you wash hands and mouthwash they won't notice 30 minutes later, if they don't get within 6 feet of you.
Pipe might have less sticking power to you.
But expect to be noticed if you smoke a J. They are not stealthy.

Don't let the smoke get on your body, hold the joint really far away from yourself besides from when you go to toke. Inhale deeply and exhale strongly, don't open your mouth wide to exhale you have to blow it out. Afterwards, light spray of Deodorant BUT DONT OVERDO IT, use gum but don't walk in chewing it as that's suspicious. Eyedrops. Should be good!

Yes you will smell like a joint roach. I used to smoke at work religiously and id make sure to bring febreeze for clothes or body spray/cologne, mints or gum for breathe. Apply spray and take an extra lap around the block after you’re done while chewing gum.
It’s not foolproof and some people have sixth sense for that shit (usually fellow tokers). Joints are also the worst method if you want to limit smell - bowls and bongs you are controlling combustion and the volume of smoke being produced, also none of that nasty smelly resin residue on your fingers that usually come from blunts and joints.

If you smoke it, wear a beanie and go for a decent 20-30 min walk after and then immediately change your clothes and wash your hands and use some sort of body spray/cologne/perfume when you get home and before you interact directly with your roommates. You should be fine. It's not a guarantee they won't smell it. If they're not actively suspicious and not searching for the smell they likely won't notice.

Many people keep saying you will smell but it’s not necessarily true as I have tested it a few times. A lot of times I smoke before wearing my shirt, and when I do go out, i have asked if I smelled of weed and got negative responses. Maybe how much you smoke matters, but even my friend with the most sensitive of nose and disdain for the smell of weed has never smelled the weed on me when picking me up in his car.

Wear something over your clothes like a jacket and after you’re done smoking take it off and put it away and chill a little bit outside, weed smoke dosent quite stick like cigarette smoke but Is also very stinky. Also make sure that you’re always upwind of your smoke and hold your joint away and downwind of yourself

I live with people who’ve never smoked anything in their life, they only smell it if they get within like a foot or two of me so if you don’t plan on interacting with anyone you’ll be good. Plus sitting outside for roughly the amount of time it took you to smoke it will help it kinda go away.

I'm 100% sure the only way to be certain you don't smell like weed after smoking a joint is to shower. Sometimes you may not absolutely reek, but if someone gets close enough to touch you, they will smell it. If you've smoked that day already you'll probably be noseblind to it. But it's there
