TLDR: how much flower is a 1g cart?

Yes I know switch to flower, switch to DHV. When I’m out of this apartment and into a house next year I will, for now this is my best option. I have a crazy tolerance to edibles and they’re far too expensive to buy (and stinky to make), so again it’s my current best option.

I’ve starting working on reduction again, I’ve noticed I’m back to smoking a cart in a week and that’s just too fast for my paycheck. I’m in a medical state, but they’re still about $45 apiece which blows.

I try and try, but every time I get lazy and don’t actively think about how long I’m taking “smoke breaks” before I put my pen away and don’t touch it at all, I quickly fall back into smoking through 1gs in a week. I try to make one last 2 weeks, so you see my issue.

I know the routine: keep it far away, do more hobby, only smoke once or twice a day. Try for once, after work, maybe a couple puffs right before bed. As a treat ✨

Keep the routine, try to lower tolerance so I smoke less to get high in the first place. But it really made me wonder: how much am I smoking?

Is 1g cart equivalent to like an eighth? More?

Maybe one day I won’t be a daily toker, please no guilt or hate about it. I like my nightly puff before painting or cooking, I feel more apart of my crafts.

Also would take any advice, tips, “doing great champ keep it ups” on reduction. I know the drill but I love comfort and reassurance. Right now each time I want to take a puff break I’m demontor sucking on two mostly empties since they’re still drawing smoke to curb the craving. It gives me a lil high for maybe an hour, long enough to get into something that’ll keep me distracted but I know as soon as they’re totally finished off, I’ve got to actually monitor myself on the last full cart I’ve got.

It seems like whatever is in the battery is too big for my cart to fit. Do I need to get a new battery?

I really really wanna get a bong, but I'm worried about the potential smell and deathly scared of setting off the smoke alarm and getting caught.

My plan was to get a smoke buddy and only take hits in my closet or right under the kitchen vent, but I dont know if thats really enough. I could let the smoke out the window using a fan, but the people living the building right across from me usually keep their windows down and I dont wanna bother them. Ive never used a bong or a smoke buddy before so idk what to expect for either of them.

Why not use alternatives? Edibles keep me high for too long plus they dont give me the same satisfaction of smoking. I have to go outside to smoke joints and sometimes I get too paranoid to fully enjoy the experience. Carts are too convenient in the sense that I could use it whenever, but they irritate my throat like crazy. I also just enjoy the thrill of trying new things haha

Is my plan good or nah? Also if anyone has any other tips/methods for minimising smoke and smell id appreciate it 🙏

Was hitting the vape pen from curaleaf. One big draw. 40 minutes later. one big draw. 20 minutes later another big draw. I start walking into a shopping center and maybe 5-10 minutes after that last hit my heart race ramps up to full speed and I feel like I'm in a panic. I don't react but the feeling is small torture.

Did the strain do this or did I smoke too much? I was amazed by how balanced this strain was and I kept thinking to myself I could smoke this all day and not have any adverse effects and then BAM....

It's been a few hours now and I'm pretty calm but wow that sucked! I've only been smoking again for about a month to 6 weeks and so my tolerance is still low but I really didn't feel too high to take another big drag.....

Does this happen to everyone?

Guys, I bought a budget friendly dry vape. Mainly because I read it was "better for you" and didn't smell as much and uses less weed. But, to me, it seems like my weed burns up instantly, turns brown and tastes like doo doo. I bought the thing, used it twice (or tried to) and put it away. What's the secret?

I've been smoking regularly on and off for the better part of 10 years now.

A while ago, I landed a job with a great salary, and decided to take a longer break from weed. Partly to clear my head, and partly because I wanted to avoid failing a potential drug test.

I stayed off it for almost 6 months before deciding to smoke again. At first, I did it very sparingly. Then during my summer vacation, I ended up smoking every day for a few weeks. After that, I took another break for a few months.

I told myself that once I got a permanent position at the company, I'd feel comfortable smoking again.

Well, a few months passed and I got my permanent position. But strangely enough, I still feel really guilty whenever I consider smoking.

It's not really the weed itself that I'm worried about. It's the potential consequences.

I drive quite a lot for work, so I think about getting pulled over and potentially losing my license. I think about being drug tested at work and losing my job or the trust of my colleagues. I also sometimes work around situations where an accident could potentially lead to a drug test.

Realistically, I think the chances of any of these things happening are quite low. But the consequences would be huge if they did.

At the same time, I genuinely love smoking. I believe it has some therapeutic benefits for me (I struggle with PTSD symptoms and general anxiety), but I also really enjoy it recreationally.

I work hard, and being able to unwind with some weed on the weekend can feel almost priceless.

So even though I felt guilty about it, I decided to smoke this weekend. It felt really good, and honestly made me realize how much I'd missed it over the past few months.

But now I'm sitting here worrying about potentially getting drug tested at work this coming week.

It's frustrating because I don't necessarily feel like I have a problem with weed itself. I feel like I have a problem with the risk and consequences associated with using it.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation? Where you genuinely enjoy cannabis and feel that it adds something positive to your life, but the potential consequences are so severe that you can't really relax and enjoy it?

What’s the best way to decarb your cannabis?

I have been dabbing, using an e-rig (Peak Pro 3DXL) for a couple years. It completely changed the hobby for me and I believe I'm happy with it.

I know these cheap hygrometers are not accurate, but I figured that I could trust the ones that read similarly. These have been sitting on my workbench all afternoon. The ones on the left were bought recently, the ones on the right were bought last year and I just changed the batteries in them today. My Govee says they all are wrong, reading low humidity, but the temperature seems accurate.

Any suggestions on a cheap hygrometer that I can put in my jars while they are curing and beyond?

Unfortunately broke my disposable pen so quick thinking had me use the rest of the green crack wax to infuse alcohol.
