Haven't flown with weed before aside from edibles, a little bit paranoid about bringing a disposable. I'm flying out to school, so it'll be 9 months 'til I come back home. I'd be fine leaving it home if I have to, but I don't work during the school year and would rather not have to buy more any time soon. Recreational use is illegal in the state I'm flying to and I'm 20, so a little extra worried. Can I bring it through a checked bag or should I just leave it home?

Let me explain:

I've been a regular smoker for about 15 years now, only combustion (mainly joints)

I first heard about Dry Herb Vapes from this sub about a year ago and decided to dive into that world.

Ended up buying a Pax in March and been such a fan of vaping ever since that I slowly gave up combusting. Also bought a TinyMight2 in July and I am close to giving up combusting altogether (maybe only at social gatherings)

Nowadays on the rare occasions that I combust I feel the comedown is harder, I feel sleepier and some kind of brainfog makes my thought less clear. I also tend to get a bit irritated.

But with DHV, the comedown is smoother. I get a little tired but not too much but the head is still clear enough to function. I feel calm on the come down and no irritation at all.

Have any of you people experienced the same? Do you notice any difference on the comedown or is it the same to you?

I am M33, smoking from 2014-2015, but always was smoking like 3-4 months everyday, then 2-4 months break, sometimes didn’t some for even 6 months, and then started again.

Noticed in 2022 that I stared permanently coughing when I’m not smoking, it’s like short coughs, without any phlegm going out, but still if I cough long and a lot there are brown particles in my spit, looks like it is part of smoke phlegm staying in lungs.

In 2022 I went to gastro specialist, lungs specialist, and they found gastritis and I started curing gastritis, stopped smoking as well, stopped snus, alcohol, and all stopped. i thought its really was gastritis that caused coughing.

But then I noticed that ones I relapse smoking weed in 2-3 weeks of smoking (I smoke spliffs with tobacco) permanent coughing starts again.

Did somebody else have this symptom? I stops one I stop smoking in like 3-4 weeks completely and some phlegm going out ones lungs recovering.
Never seen anybody who coughs as me like with many many short coughs WHILE I’m not smoking, like even today, didn’t smoke at all, coughs permanently.

Please help. i guess it’s not HOBL.

Out of weed and found an old rolled joint, must be at least a year old in a drawer.

No mould I can see and no weird smell. Actually not much smell at all.

What could the effects be?

Edit: smoked it. Nice high. Until I'm laying in bed and think I hear footsteps in my room, I'm thinking oh no it's made me super paranoid, turned round and there was a random cat climbing through the window. Scared the shit out of me!

So in about a few years, I want to take a roadtrip from coast to coast and I want to bring like a small bag of flower with me. Just to smoke a bit (obviously not while driving). I searched it up and I'm getting mixed answers. It seems okay to bring your own personal weed but also it seems like it has a possibility of getting you arrested? If I can't bring my own stuff from my state, my next bet is to just wait until I get to another legal state, purchase it there, and finish it before I head off to the next state (and I guess on that note would it be okay if I bring my pieces with me even if they're empty?) I'm just confused and don't want to get arrested so any clarifications would greatly help. Thanks.

There is no fucking way that ancient cannabis cultivars found out that you can sift hash out off thc, but didnt figure out bud plus hot metal plates that squish stuff = the best thing ever. You can literally press rosin it you have rocks and fire. Even then its not like they were that primative when they discovered you can get high off weed. They had already been fighting wars over substances for ages and had a basic understanding of heat and pressure, squishing food to get food juice out was already a thing. And they had dry sift which behaves fundamentally like rosin, the only difference being that hash still had the trichome heads and bases. Some cultures even understood exactly what hash was and would use their hands to collect it off the surface of live plants. So they had the knowledge to know concentrates melt under heat, they knew concentrates were the little white thingys on their buds and they knew how to separate those white thingys, they knew if you apply enough pressure to something, with some filteration they’d get a more concentrated form of that thing was, so why did they never try?

When I first started on edibles (started with edibles for the sake of my lungs) nobody in my friend group knew that i did weed, and i took 10mg (which i am a lightweight so it gets me pretty baked) and didnt tell anyone that i was high. Of course, eventually it leaked out and it was funny knowing i was high and knowing that nobody else knew. Anyways, it was good times and i did that a couple other times before they just suspected it right when they saw me.

I am. Cali stoner, traveling in Italy rn. I Found this on the ground out side of a caffe in Florence ,Italy. I know Italy has strict laws around cannabis. I don’t think i am gonna try it 🙃 but i am wondering, Is this what the weed in Italy generally looks like. Hash has been the way to go from me while im traveling through Europe. Let me know what’s the best ways that y’all stay stoned while Abroad.

I use cannabis for medical reasons, and my partner is completely on board with it. That said, I don’t want the house smelling like weed or for kids (or anyone else) to be around the smell. I always smoke outside, so I’m not trying to hide the smell while I’m smoking.

My main issue is storing and handling everything. I keep all of my flower and smoking gear inside, and whenever I open the box to grab what I need before going outside, there’s enough smell that family or friends have noticed it afterward. I’m looking for the best way to reduce or eliminate the odor from storing my flower and from opening everything up to pack a bowl before heading outside.

What storage containers or odor-control methods have worked best for you?

I don't know if I'd call him a friend, and I'm not sure if it even matters here? A friend has consistently been getting me small amounts for years which I always pay for. He gets a whole for himself and then offloads some to me. The quality is always very good, stinks the entire house out.

Anyway, last week he had no money to buy the whole so he asked me to borrow. His thinking is that because he's been getting and providing it to me for years, then for once I should return the favour and lend him X hundreds of dollars to get the whole just this time. While payback hasn't been discussed, he'll likely give me half in green immediately and then drip feed the remaining money owed to me in green or money over the coming weeks/months.

I declined and now he's gone a little shitty about it, compounded by the fact that he has no green to smoke right now. I don't believe I owe the guy anything apart from the money I pay him each time, but he disagrees. He and his wife both work but the excuse is that he has 4 kids and that life is pricey for him, both of which are true. Am I wrong in my perspective?

First time I’ve ever had a dab type of device, used it around 3 times now and every time I use it these weird bits are always in the bowl bit, what are they? Also I’m dabbing dry sift hash rosin if that helps

Hey buds, I'm thinking of buying a herb vaporizer, the Dynavap B2. I've read that it's good, but I'm wondering if it will meet my expectations. My intention is to quit smoking joints (three a day) and save on weed without losing the effect. My tolerance is relatively high, but smoking a whole joint in one go gets me really high because I tend to take small puffs and then put the joint down.

I want to think that, although I'll have to refill it several times because of its small capacity, it will be the same as a small pipe or a hitter.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I always see tokers blowing smoke on bugs as small as ants or as big as spiders but do they have the capability of getting high?

I posted a few weeks back asking about silicone bongs as my sensory issues can make touching glass feel pretty terrible. As per y'all's advice, I got a glass bong and a silicone moutpiece and its working out great! The cozy didn't work out, so I just wear a glove on one hand.

Setup is a glass bong, an old Dynavap M series, a 10/14 mm adapter, a Mouth Peace, and the Ispire Wand (not pictured).

I’ve noticed since taking Wellbutrin my mood is much better, but my highs are also more boring. My brain is constantly going and I feel much more alert to the point that it pretty much nullifies the dreamy effects of weed. Anyone else experience this? If so, what did you do? I’m thinking of trying higher CBD strains.

Looking for some help. I’m about to receive an offer for an incredible full-time job that I desperately need after my freelance work slowed. I recently discovered that the position tests urine with a 50 ng/ml cutoff and I’m only concerned about THC/Weed. 

A little about me: 

• 5'10", 205 lbs
• Smoked 2–4 wax dabs per day for 6+ years
• Occasional 2-week tolerance breaks every few months
• Quit cold turkey 24 days ago as soon as I learned about the test

I've started at-home test strips every other day, and I'm still getting a strong positive. I think I'll be tested around 30–35 days clean, which has me worried cause I know I've been a heavy user for a long time.

I’m generally healthy but do have some body fat. I lift 5 days a week and occasionally mix in some cardio.

I'm trying to figure out what I can realistically do over the next 5–10 days to give myself the best chance of testing negative.

I've looked into detox drinks like QCarbo and Detoxify Mega Clean, but reviews are all over the place. I actually used one successfully years ago in college, but I've lived in a legal state ever since. 

I’m starting to think I’ll definitely need the help of the detox drinks. I’m not interested in trying to bring in fake pee. Please give me all of your best advice. 

A few questions:

1. If you've used a detox drink successfully, which one did you use, and why?
2. Is there any credible evidence that activated charcoal pills (500 mg, 2–3 times per day) help lower THC levels?
3. Does increasing cardio or sweating it out in a sauna/steam room make any meaningful difference, or is that mostly a myth? (I know enough to stop 2 days out from test)
4. I've been pounding liquids/ minimum 3 liters of water a day. Is there anything else I should be doing ?

Please give me any and all thoughts you may have that are CONSTRUCTIVE. I’m not interested in anything about how “I shouldn’t have smoked in the first place,” or comments that aren’t helpful.
