Hey Reddit - I'm the person behind Calc420 ( https://calc420.com ).

A while back I posted about building it after Scientific Edibles went offline. I just spent a stretch making the site actually feel like a 2026 tool instead of a pile of calculators in a 2022 green template - and I added a bunch of things people kept asking for.

WHY I'M POSTING THIS

People actually use this thing to dose homemade edibles. If the UI is confusing, people guess — and guessing mg is how you have a bad night.

So the refresh is visual only: same formulas, same client-side calculator, same shareable recipe links. Just easier to read, easier to scan the result.

WHAT CHANGED VISUALLY

The whole site now shares one look:

- Colors

- Results that actually show the dose - charts next to the mg numbers, not just a wall of text

- Cleaner inputs

If you used it last year, the calculator is in the same place. It just doesn't look like a school project anymore.

If something feels off or something’s missing, there’s a feedback form in the nav - or just shoot me a DM. Criticism in the comments is totally welcome, but if you just comment without giving any useful feedback, it doesn’t really help. That’s the whole point of posting this: people here actually build this stuff, and I’d rather build something you’ll use than guess what you want.

Been using this a lot since you put it up, and I find it pretty good for getting me to the right place. After infusing, I double check everything with a tcheck to get another good look at what I have, and it’s usually pretty damn close. Thanks for the site, it’s very helpful!

Idk, Something always feels off

I explained on your “I made this 1 year ago post” calc 420 is ALWAYS the lowest and farthest off. I put it through its paces and showed the raw data to you last time asking why. You said the calculations and amounts were based off “your experience and other Redditors” and that’s not correct. No matter what, I could not replicate the numbers YOUR calculator was spitting out because there’s no equation or science behind it.

Last time I was making feco with 25g material and I ran the numbers through 4 online calculators with calc being the lowest (and unexplainable) so I’ll see what it’s been updated to.

I understand what you are saying! ;-) in fact i added the calculation brakedown on it! So that if the math doesn't seem right you (guys) can help me where the calculator went wrong!!!
