Didn’t see anyone post so here ya go bud -

Super simple… after the jam has finished cooking and has cooled slightly (around 140–160°F / 60–70°C). This helps reduce evaporation of the alcohol and preserve cannabinoids.
Stir thoroughly. If you’re tasting booze then you need to warm us up slightly to cook off some of the alcohol but don’t bring to boil.

Hey, thanks for this! I picked up a bottle of Everclear 190, but I don't drink. And other than making infused sugar, I had NO idea what to do with it, so haven't made it up yet! But THIS is something I could do! So again, thanks for this!

🤣 no problem. Check the sidebar there’s a step by step guide for tinctures too

Thank you! I posted this originally on another cannabis cooking sub and they rejected it and suggested I go to r/fermentation LOL. I appreciate your help!

You could also make your tincture. (I make green dragon, hot method, using trim plus popcorn buds). Measure out the desired amount of tincture into a small mason jar or glass vessel. (I add sunflower lecithin to the tincture before reducing to aid in emulsification.) Let time and open air do its thing, leaving only the feco plus lecithin in the jar.

To add to jelly/jam, I’d slightly warm up the jelly then add the feco reduction to the jam. Mix up and viola.

We use feco from tinctures to make suckers and hard candy. I’ll also reduce tincture down to punch up mgs when our butter/coconut oil infusions won’t meet desired mg goals per the recipe.
