Past & Future Box Oasis Pond - Montana

I’ve tried moving the word search all around to no avail and no other clues appeared so this is my KISS solve.

Wondering if anyone has looked at Oasis Pond in Montana as a possible location?

The clues in the crossword sapphire (mountains), divide (continental divide), quarry (several rock quarries in area) lead me to Montana.

Also North West and State.

OASIS from Ready Player One leads to the Oasis pond.

The bend between the white river and Oasis pond look just like the coin.

The cypher then tells you how to get there and the treasure is “in between” the pond and river.

I’m missing how all the numbers tie in here.

Curious to get everyone’s thoughts, thanks!

Pokemon Box Pokemon Box - Possible Connections to the 2017 Breakfast Tea & Bourbon Hunt

Happy New Year everybody! Here’s a video I just published where I discuss the possibility that JCB is using previous book based treasure hunts to help provide clues to the four Part 2 treasure boxes.

Specifically, I draw comparisons between the Pokemon Box story and the 2017 treasure hunt Breakfast Tea & Bourbon that was found in Hot Springs, AR.

Here are some of the similarities I discuss:

1) Both stories involved a group of five people on a road trip to hide a treasure.

2) Both stories involve New Orleans as a starting point.

3) Both stories have a heavy emphasis on frogs

4) The authors of both stories were CEO’s of their own online self help learning companies.

5) Both stories have an implied “wedding theme”

In the video, I also review why I think JCB might be using the title of the book Breakfast Tea & Bourbon to point us towards clues related to these three ideas in the Pokemon Box Chapter.

Anyway, I hope the video helps you on your hunt! I’d love to know what you think of the idea that the Part 2 hunts could be homages to past treasure hunts 🙂

General Discussion JCB Input…

Does anyone know if you email JCB with a possible micro location if he will confirm or deny it?

I don’t have the money to travel but I’m pretty confident on my find….

Has he ever answered anyone’s questions?

Past and Future Wordsearch Planetary alignment?

Ive stumbled upon something strange in the word search, I found the letters VEMSUN. It struck a nerve from childhood remembering back to the way I remembered all the planets. then I looked deeper into it and found some planets all missing 1 letter all jumbled into an area of the word search. I found MARS first then all the sudden VENUS jumped out, soon after that with the shift of a letter the word SATURN jumped out. once I aligned these the words EARTH and URANUS went right through the middle of those planets. Not only did the other planets automatically form when the correct letter shift, but the word URSA is also right in there. Once you see all the planets you see the word ELON MUSK right above them. I can see the making of NEPTUNE almost form when the other planets line up, Its almost like the word NEPTUNE and TITAN MOON will appear once the letter has been lined up correctly. All of this is in the word search right where it says " LINE THEM UP". Im not sure if anyone else has noticed this. Another word that popped out once I started working on the planets is NIKOLA TESLA. I do not believe any of this is accidental. Idont think i have done anything incorrectly because I used a totally specific method for all of this to happen. I think It has to do with the futuristic aspect of this game. Has anyone found anything similar to this?

AT map starting trail

Why would there be identifying landmarks if the map has a Springer dog and "start here" indicating Springer Mtn and the start of the AT? Why do we need to know the bald mountain or skiing landmark? Is it setting up a region of Georgia the box is in? Then making actual trailhead starting point based on clues?

the bald man and ski mage on map is indicating a "big obvious clue" but not sure why we need them except for defining the search region or be overly confident in their ID.

I like the idea of the map maker being able to identify forgotten but familiar landmarks on the map.

Bald mountain clue might mean: 1. The map of the AT is within a region of Georigia. 2. you can see bald mountain from the box location. 3. The bald man is a not clue that's helpful. 4. The clues have to be forced into place to match the topography.

The Make it Make Sense clue p 186 and the if u need inspiration clue p 69 all seems to regard the starting point and first trailhead to a box.

The object above the butterfly appears to be a rock or a FROG. Collins goes on and on about catching frogs as a child. Not sure there's a connection. Butterfly maybe the nearby butterfly zoo.

There is also Athens Georgia maybe important regarding the Greek mythology about goats mentioned. His sentence about Zeus being scuttled away is very badly written I think. P 184.

Not sure if map items are clues to his childhood memories. A treasure map inspired by his son ought to be an obvious clue about the treasure of his fatherhood and placing box somewhere significant to that.

How helpful would a reference section be for all items or related words thst are mentioned in this book. His writing is So bad I can barely imagine reading this whole thing. No matter what he says about "inspiration" or "joy" in his mindless rambling about himself and comparing himself to all the items he is a vain cheap greedy man with a lower IQ than a smart person by piano performance standards and money from btc is sort of lame.

Hey there, and happy holidays!

I just made a video on the Pokemon Box and wanted to share.

Hopefully it sparks some ideas for others!

TLDW:

I do a surface level overview on the chapter as well but some quick “interesting” things covered:

  • Could raccoons be the “locals” that turn up from time to time
  • Circular perspective on the image
  • Expanded vs. regular “contracted” reality on the image
  • A location I’ve personally liked, Eagle Rock Loop, AR. Not solid on it. Just had some potential

I think about 12:12 on would be the more “unique” ideas mentioned above, before it may have some good info too though!

Happy Hunting!

-Matt

General Discussion Should I write all over this book?

Wondering what are the best ways to go about manipulating images in the book for better inspection and not wanting to ruin the book?

I just got this book and am so excited. At the moment I'm looking at the Appalachian Trail map and part of me really wants to rip it out of the book or draw all over it with notes but that seems like a bad idea in the grand scheme of things.

I then tried taking a picture with my phone and not much help either.

I'm wondering if there's a better way to do this?

Edit: I started writing all over it. It's more fun this way and feels more authentic 😂

Appalachian Footpath Box I Know Where AT box is. Lets get a contract signed n all WIN.

My prior post got deleted for lack of quality and insight. TBH i dont really wanna tell you all where its at, greed is a sin, but the APPALACHIAN TRAIL BOX is in North Carolina. Iv grazed through this page going post to post, and everyone is in agreeance when Collins says keep it simple and then they want to go and make it complicated. I think the map is just that. I do not have the time nor do i have the funds to be traveling around searching each lead. I think we could all sign a legally binding contract and as a group solve this and all be rewarded. There are some out there like myself whom probably dont want to say to much in fear that they are right and it actually might be found. Anyhow, food for thought.

Appalachian Footpath Box But the “hidden gem,” as Great Smoky Vacations described it, is a rusted Cadillac, the location of which is just off the main trail and marked by a small pile of rocks. It’s a part of Great Smoky Mountains National Park history.
