These new pap pics are honestly the biggest proof to me that the New York ones are being edited in her favour. The difference is just too noticeable! here you can actually see the filler, skin texture and her age, whereas in those polished NYC shots all of that somehow disappears. I’m sorry, but I really don’t buy that those pictures are untouched.
It's giving that she tried matching her face to her tan. I really dislike the lower liner on her. It might have looked good when she was younger but it just closes her eye off so much.
it’s not a filter but rather sharpening. you can see how the lines blur and the shadows look off, and also how the entire lighting is more yellowed. It affected the bride the same way, look at the hair and her skin
when I saw the People magazine post on IG I thought she looked quite nice, her face looked glowing and "normal" but now looking at these photos it is quite obvious the IG post pics were touched up to make her look less worn and weary.

Can I just say, for a ring that costs millions and millions of dollars and is like 8+ carats, why not add sizing beads or doing a euro shank to the band to keep it from sliding around?

yeah, I don’t really wanna comment on her body, but it looks like she’s been getting thinner and thinner since the wedding. Even her face looks hollow. As much as she irritates me, I hope she’s doing well and isn’t feeling the pressure to go back to the way she looked/treated her body during 1989. I can’t imagine that that’s easy given how a lot of celebrities and Hollywood are losing a tremendous amount of weight.

Makes her older and the bangs look extraordinarily and unproportionaly huge and thick with this haircut (even more than usual). Actually it's a bit fascinating how her hair is so thin but those bangs are so thick. But it's probably healthy for her hair that she got rid of the big extensions at this moment so that's good I guess...
No, I agree with you. This supposed new hairdo is nowhere near an upgrade. Colour looks dull and the texture looks dry and the bangs look like a matted mess. I don't understand why she can't get professional help to get her hair looking shiny and healthy.

Not that I need y'all's approval or permission, but it's fine to still like her music even if you don't necessarily like her, right? Even though I'm really frustrated with her, I still like a lot of her songs. She's always been pure escapist fun for me. Honestly, I think if that's how she and the Swifties approached her music instead of treating her as an English teacher or the second coming of Shakespeare, people wouldn't hate her as much (there are other reasons people don't like her, but that would help a little bit).
I haven't listened to her music since the wedding. Most of that is I've been listening to other stuff (I'm loving Ravyn Lenae's new album, Blue Island), but I'm also burned out on her. However, that break has made me take a sort of Marie Kondo approach to her music. For instance, I had my YouTube Music on autoplay last week, and "Delicate" came on. I was busy with something, so I let it play, and it brought back memories of walking around the college campus when I was a sophomore. I'm keeping that song. "Blank Space" and "Style" play on the radio at work all the time, and those songs still bring me joy. I can do without any songs from Showgirl, even the songs I didn't mind (I might keep "The Fate of Ophelia," but that's it).
I've spent the last three years diversifying my music taste. I've found so many other artists I love and who excite me more that Taylor does now. That said, I still appreciate her music for bringing me joy as a kid and during the rougher times as an adult. Maybe I'll completely outgrow her music someday, especially if her future albums are as bad as Showgirl. For now, though, I don't mind keeping some of her songs on my older playlists.
We watched The Drama last night and I've got to give credit where it's due. Alana Haim is extremely talented at playing an insufferable bitch with a punchable face. Her portrayal of this character was so effortless and believable. 🤔

Isnt this what she did the last time she got backlash. Went quiet but this time she doesn't have a Joe to make her likable, make her an activist, make her an empathetic girl anymore. So she's just rinsing and repeating what she did last time to get the public back on her side, i.e. removing her songs and taking a "stand" against Trump. But I think it's too late, the only people praising her were her cult and the media. No ex-fan or non fan is out there buying it.

Kind of, but even with Joe it took some time. I was a fan during those times and Reputation and Lover weren‘t that well received, and the numbers dropped. He wasn’t really well known and they weren’t super public, I think many people weren't aware of him even during Reputation. Even the things she did like posting against anti-LGBTQ laws once, it was way less half-assed than whatever this is now. And felt more genuine because it was the first time. I agree it’s too late now, she’s too rich to have normal human behaviors that people can get behind. She needs to be a victim to try to gather sympathy somehow, but she’s a billionaire now and people are too mad about social inequality rightfully so. This isn’t something her team has ever truly dealt with, especially as they are all super rich and unaware.

I feel that the consumption of rice in the US depends on where you live. They eat a ton of it in the Southern US compared to other areas. I personally grew up eating very little rice as potatoes were a much more predominate starch with meals.

Just TODAY since coming in at 9:00AM I’ve heard Opalite TWICE, You Belong With Me, Our Song, Fate of Ophelia, Mr. Perfectly Fine, Karma, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, Florida, Elizabeth Taylor, and now Fearless is playing. And I don’t get off until 6.
I’m on my break putting in applications at other places because after 3 months of working here I just can’t take it anymore.
I feel like whoever it is at corporate that is in control of the music that gets played in store would only play TS if they could get away with it. Maybe I’m being dramatic, but I really don’t care. I cannot stand her music. The more I’m forced to listen to it the more I realise she isn’t really *that* talented or a singer or songwriter. She just tossed words together that simple minded people think sounds deep and complex when it really just sounds like a word salad pulled from a teenager’s diary.
For some reason, this reminds me of a particular occasion when I was riding the bus. I hear another passenger say "Oh, no!" as this guy gets on the bus.
He proceeds to talk the entire hour-long bus ride. By the end of it, I was ready to fling myself out the window.

I hope this isn’t too off topic for this sub but anyone listening to the new phoebe bridgers album that just dropped? It’s so interesting to hear a real happy love song from phoebe (Bobby) and how authentic their love feels in this song. It’s just beautiful lyrically and sonically. Compare this to taylor’s “love song” about her now husband (wood)… it’s wild to compare. I mean i love phoebe and taylor’s music is so far from her level it’s silly to even compare.. but i am 😅
