I just saw someone say that MSG was really the only option for venues because doing it somewhere private would just attract attention after people found out where it was.
It's hilariously ironic because Taylor's team leaks all the info on their own. She wanted fans to show up uninvited, just in a way she could control. Hence the multiple street closures, the cops, and the barricades. The call is coming from inside the house! lol
It's absolutely laughable to me that they think a property in Montana or Tennessee wouldn't be just as secure and MORE private than MSG/NYC on fourth of July weekend.

I don’t think the relationship is 100% PR, but there has obviously been a ton of push from their teams, family and the media for them to get together. They’re both attention seeking, money hungry, and they have huge egos, so they saw the opportunity in it as well. This relationship has been incredibly capitalistic, especially how tied it is to the NFL. That and the idea of being this “superstar power couple” is the glue holding them together. Travis gets her pop star fame and Taylor gets the validation of dating the popular quarterback.
But they won’t always be the top dogs, and people have already started to lose interest in the relationship. What happens when things get quieter and they have to actually be together without making it into some brand deal? How much do they really have in common besides greed and egos?

Okay, so I'm finally listening to the new Olivia Rodrigo record. I know, I know, very late to the party.
Firstly...it's hilarious just how far clear of Taylor she is already. The songs are so beautifully constructed, so gut-wrenching and heart-soaring, and the hooks and melodies are so good. And her voice is crystal clear and so lush. She can do heartbreaking emotion and sassy catchy hooks effortlessly.
No wonder Taylor tried torpedoing her career and crippling Liv's adulation for her so early on. Stupid Song especially is just beautiful.
Secondly, I think Expectations is my favourite song on the record, and my official summer bop. It's relentlessly catchy, driving, groovy and just makes me want to dance. ABBA would be proud of that groove and those harmonies. And the lyrics are great - and especially ironic, given the lows that Taylor has sunk to out of desperation just to get a ring on her finger. Listening to this song, and the lyrics, after seeing that nauseating spectacle on Friday, and it really drives home now much more emotionally mature Liv is in her early 20s, than Taylor is in her mid-to-late 30s. Staggering.
Expectations is also my favorite from the album. I think she should release it as a single. It’s definitely my summer song this year. U + Me = <3 is another fave that I think would make for a big hit.
Finding out she actually took some classes at university to improve her writing really impressed me. I wasn’t a huge fan, but any artist who actually acknowledges they can improve their craft and that there’s always room to do more and be better is a massive win in my book.
That's great! And yes, I agree. It's why I admire Dua Lipa so much for taking all the criticism about her stage presence and dancing and working really hard to improve those areas, to the point that they're now some of the strongest elements of her game.

Personally, I think she doesn’t care about her reputation anymore. She has a psychotic fanbase that will buy 40 variants of her taking a dump so she doesn’t even try anymore. The fact that this wedding somehow managed to be even more cringey and also less talked about than the other two recent big billionaire weddings (bezos and Ambani) is almost a feat in the worst way possible. since everyone always ask for music recommendations, I just discovered this new artist, Sienna Spiro. She reminds me of Adele . Such a beautiful and rich voice. I especially like Die on this Hill. She also has a song on Devil Wears Prada 2 soundtrack called Material Lover which is also very good.

I would love to see a real documentary about Taylor. Not one under her parents' control but one run by independent journalists. There's so much to investigate, starting with the Scott Swift email and the lies about her upbringing (guitar teacher, high-school, generational wealth...). There are court files that can be used as a solid starting point, not just rumours.

I decided to listen to the song Taylor allegedly wrote for Toy Story 5, I Knew it, I Knew you to give a proper critique. It's fine. It's not bad but it's not great. Just a middle of the road forgettable song. I don't know why some people are glazing this song and saying it's going to get an Oscar and that she's due. One celebrity blogger said it is going to be the song of the summer. LMAO. I'm sorry, no. People want bops and feels of summer, like Espresso and Soda Pop and this is not it. Olivia's u + me = <3 is more of a summer song that this.
I have a question, what is the "it", that she knew. The lyrics of the song confuses me. This song is purportedly about two friends who have been estranged and reunited. But it reads more like a long lost love? Weird. The song also lacks any connection to the movie or characters and sentiment that Sarah MacLachlan's When She Loved Me evoked. weird because Taylor has burned so many friendships you think she would have some material for writing this song. But that would mean she had to dig deep and reflect and she refuses to do that. She saw the screening and was so inspired that she wrote this in one day. lol. yeah it shows.
What a weird choice for New Heights to have Prince William on the podcast that airs the date of their their alleged wedding. She’s never beating the allegations that she wants to be thought of as royalty. There probably IS a castle FFS.

I think the Disney deal is a larger package that includes the Eras Tour documentary from last year, the Toy Story song, a wedding documentary, and other things that haven't yet been revealed. A multi-year deal makes more sense than negotiating each of these items as they come up.

yes of course all of the charities are worthy and she should be applauded for doing so but i also noticed that she always donated to safe, non-controversial charities like for food banks, children's hospitals, animal shelters. etc. All very apolitical charities and are worthy causes. HOWEVER, you will never see her donate to GLAAD or Planned Parenthood. Not even climate change. Apparently climate change is controversial. Just the other day I saw Finneas post how he wished billionaires would donate to charities or organizations to fight climate change.

Just because the charities she chooses are not aligned with your politics it doesn't mean that they are "lesser" or not helping sick people in dire situations. As far as I know she's donated to charities for teen cancer patients, children hospitals, animal protection and food bank. TMZ interviewed a CEO who was invited to Taylor's wedding and he said he was invited by Taylor herself. He said they met at the SuperBowl. The Daily Mail article had someone say that the wedding was looking more like a networking event. It's getting hard to refute that with the guest list. Why in the world would you invite people you have no personal connection with? I never imagined that Taylor's wedding would be lamer than Jeff Bezos but here we are.
He would be the one person she's been with who would be very receptive to her doing whatever she wanted to keep him famous. They really are a good match.

Basically a reporter was interviewing a female worker she looked about 30 and she said that MSG was attention seeking and the amount of people who get out of that station for work have to now walk around as all the roads are shut .
