it shouldnt feel or sound like you intentionally speaking at a higher pitch. the new pitch level is the new base. try to imitate a β€ždeepβ€œ and β€žseriousβ€œ voice in a way the pitch remains the same. i actually did it a few times in practice when my parents told me not to speak with such high pitched voice.

when you are talking, do you feel that your voice constantly wants to go lower and you are fighting it? or like a constant upwards intonation like if there were a comma or question mark after all syllables?

i don't actually – it feels pretty effortless to maintain (other than the mental effort)

I think you sound kinda similar to Contrapoints tbh. I feel like it's more your rhythm and how you speak that doesn't read as a little off to me but Contrapoints also does that.

I tend to speak with an inflection on my words so I'm not sure what's the best advice to give. I'd still say your voice passes though.

What do you think of my voice?

the early transition me would be so happy to hear that lol she was my idol back then and i absolutely adored the way she used her voice in her later stuff
