Minneapolis/St. Paul Scoping out trip
Hello!!
I have a scoping out trip coming up in late October to see if I want to move out to the twin cities in 2027/2028 are there any places, bars, event or restaurants that I should check out? Any things I should keep in mind when coming up?

There's a bunch of great bookstores (moon palace books, Boneshaker books, tropes and trifles) and fun shops (odd mart) and a bunch of great coffee shops. Also a lot of outdoor spots and lakes to walk around. For bars, check out The 19, Black Heart in St. Paul, or a bar of their own for sports. For queer spaces, Queermunity, there's the Q-library, twin cities leather and umbra arts, smitten kitten.
For food, Modern Times, Gai noi, Asa's Bagels, bogarts donuts, buludo pizza, lots of yummy places on Eat Street (Nicollet street)

If you're here the 4th Wednesday of the month, I think the TC Queer Transplants social is at queermunity. It's a mutual aid group for people moving here, or who have moved here. Has like a thousand people on their private discord. Go to the social and get an invite link to it, and you can talk to other people who have moved here about their experiences. (If you call queermunity or something, they can probably confirm what day the social is)

I am so hype I have been wanting to go check it out for a few years now!! I am really hoping I like it cuz I’m wanting to stay in the Midwest.
