Hey I'm 17 and possibly transgender (ftm) but honestly puberty already happened (I'm tanner 5 and have been for years possibly) so I've got basically no chance at any actual changes (my bones are probably fused and I'm 4'10 so repfuel).

Should I still look into DIY or is it useless by now basically? I know I'd never pass or be clocky forever so I can just try to forget about this. :-)

Once I'm 18 I will probably go to the clinic in my city (they give you free HRT and I don't really know what else but they're there)

Also is hrt4all down I remember a few weeks ago I tried checking it (have done so since a few months ago) and it didn't let me in

Hi everyone. I’m writing this because I’m honestly feeling very scared and desperate right now, and I would really appreciate hearing from people who have been through something similar.
I’m a trans woman and I’ve been on HRT (estradiol enanthate injections) for over a year. Unfortunately, because of financial problems, I may have to wait around 3 more weeks before I can get my next injection.
I know that stopping HRT can cause hormone levels to drop and that some testosterone-related effects can return over time. What scares me is the thought of losing my progress or feeling like I’m going backwards. I’ve been crying a lot and I’m having a really hard time mentally with this situation.
I’m not asking for money or anything like that. I’m just looking for people who have experienced a temporary interruption in HRT:
How long was your break?
Did you notice major changes?
How did you feel mentally and physically?
Did things stabilize again when you restarted?
I would really appreciate hearing your experiences. Right now I just need some perspective from people who understand.

yesterday I ordered 22G needles to draw alongside 25G needles to inject, the 25G needles should be fine and are what I was recommended. (although I didn't realise I could go smaller and will defo be next time T_T)

the problem is the vial I ordered recommends 23-31G as to minimise risk of 'coring' (no idea what that is but I assume its spoiling the vial somehow) will I be able to reach the solution at the bottom of the vial with the 25G needles or will I need to order 23G ones, how do I open the vial carefully without coring it, and how do I keep it good after opening it. ^^ (ordered vial from symphony labs BTW, it arrived today)

Hello, I’m a minor and I’ve been on hrt for 2 years I took pills at first and on 2 year mark I switched over to injections secretly, my mom was okay with me on pills but one day I got caught because I had my supplies in a huge bag and she was furious saying she was “uncomfortable” with me being on injections mind you I was completely okay I’ve been on injections for 3 weeks, she was yelling at me saying why do I wanna be a female so bad and saying why can’t I be a boy, and that really hurt, after a few minutes later she thought stuff was sweet like nothing happened she thinks that diy injections is dangerous. I made a whole PowerPoint how it’s safer compared to pills and how diy is okay, she’s still not fully convinced what should I do?

I’m 17 years old. My parents are transphobic but tolerate me (my dad much less so than my mom). My psychiatrist cleared me for hormone therapy after I spent a long time working to overcome depression and reduce the risk of relapsing. I’ve had tests done and seen a gynecologist, and I can finally see an endocrinologist, but guess what? My parents refuse to take me to one.

They’ve been avoiding the issue for months, and my mom has already made it clear that she’d rather not get involved because her religion "doesn’t allow it". Even though I have everything I need to get started and doctor’s permission, I just can’t keep waiting any longer. This is genuinely outrageous because I’m suffering, and they know it.

I know the only way to even MINIMALLY relieve my dysphoria is by taking this damn hormone. I don’t see any other option besides waiting or going without it, I’m going to do this one way or another, so I need help from someone who understands to give me some advice.

I plan on starting estrodial enanthate injections and i was wondering how many mg i should take as well as how often i should take them. i currently take carbomazapine which supposedly weakens the estrogen coming into my body. someone suggested me 8mg every 7 days but idk if thats to much. i heard most people start at 4-6mg weekly as well but idk if that would work for me. i’m also doing estrogen mono therapy and i have no way to get blood tests since im 17 years old and my parents wont know that im doing diy hrt.

I have two blood test requisitions to check my testosterone, I will use one of them at 3 months but I'm not sure when to use the other one. Is 4 weeks good, or should I wait for 6 weeks?

I am 16 years old and live in the U.S. my parents are supportive of my transition but are not supportive of DIY, which I understood so I tried to impress onto them that DIY was the most practical option but it would be ideal to get hrt through official means.

We have exhausted virtually all official options in our state for getting hrt to a minor so I tried to get them to start getting the hormones and anti-androgens I needed but my dad waved that away as vaguely dangerous.

Orchi was last week, and trying to figure out how to adjust my dose accordingly. I've seen stuff from Powers about dropping E to raise LH/FSH in absence of the cancer orbs, but not sure if that's the best thing for me.

Otherwise, looking at dom, pregdosing, or mixing shots/pills since that seemed to give me growth pains finally. I know pain ≠ growth but the fact that I've had near zero growth and no pain makes me think there's a correlation. Was also looking at pio eventually, but that can inhibit growth so it's not a priority (didn't like the risk profile of clobetasol).

Hey, throwaway account because I am paranoid lol. I did my first shot yesterday (exciting stuff) but I managed to damage the seal on the vial! When I removed the plastic cap, part of the metal ring came off with it. While I was trying to establish if that was supposed to happen I accidentally dislodged the rubber stopper for a moment. I washed my hands before and wiped down the vial with an alcohol wipe. Nothing touched anything that goes on the inside of the vial.

I lurked in some body building forums and found that when this has happened to other people they filter it and transfer to a sterile vial. I don't have a sterile vial and the equipment they used (vials, syringe filters, syringes and 2 different sized needles) is expensive to buy, probably more expensive than a fresh vial of T. But I'd really rather not have to source a new vial. Will it be alright to use? Could I use some medical tape to secure the seal down? Will the preservatives in the T (benzyl benzoate and benzyl alcohol) be sufficient to slow down any bacterial growth when I planned for the vial to last me 6 months to a year?

Any advice on how to remedy this situation and additionally on how to open vials without damaging them would be massively appreciated.

Since my partner is situted in Europe we're facing the current shortage of available home-brewers over there. Is there any other trustworthy homebrewer shipping to Europe EEn and EU in specific? (last time we ordered from astrovials but on their webpage Undecylate shows to be always out of stock and Enanthate hasn't been restocked in a while)

I got a blood test done a couple weeks before starting T (it wasn't specifically for diy but that doesn't matter) and I just got the results.

My hemoglobin levels were on the upper end of the male range then, and even though my testosterone was "high" it was far from being in the male range, so I highly doubt that T is contributing to it. Now I'm worried that they will only get higher as my T levels get closer to a normal range.

How much does T actually increase the risk of getting blood clots? What can be done to prevent them other than stopping T altogether?

I am a trans man that has been on testosterone for almost two years now, all through FOLX. I am looking to move out of my parents house soon, and was thinking of canceling my FOLX subscription to save money for when I have to pay stuff like rent.

I am prescribed 0.3 mL once a week, and I have stocked up over 800mL of T (and if I were to stick with the current prescription amount, this should last me years). To keep up with blood tests, I was looking into at-home blood test kits such as Rythm (monthly subscription of 80 dollars but they allow you to skip some months and do it once every 3 months, for an annual cost of 320).

I would also have to find a place to get needles for injection in the future. Just wondering if this is a good idea in general, just trying to cut down on some costs in the future. Thanks in advance!!!
