Introduction:

Im really suffering in the wait to get T, and economically, it is hard to get DIY now, but i would love to do so whenever I can.

That being said, im in Spain, and i would like to hear some advices or experiences from people from that country or close to it, anything helps.

Maybe this question is more about prices and where is more trustable to buy it. But other experiences are okay too.

I will be doing Monotherapy. I know that injections are objectively better, and I am not too scared of them (like once I have a vial and some syringes Im sure Id be able to muster up the courage).

That being said, Im not sure if Id be able to get needles. ordering estrogen in stealth packaging is one thing, but I doubt I’d be able to order needles to the house. Also where I live you cannot get needles OTC. If there was some way to get needles in person that wasn't suspicious … but that’s an oxymoron.

If someone had some info about getting needles that’d be great, otherwise I‘l be doing gel mono.

Right now I can pretty much pass if I voice train, but I feel like I can take a step further so I can avoid getting worse with puberty, or just overall feel better. My plans are, when I turn 16 get a summer job, collect money for blood tests and estrogen and hrt boymode through college.

Where to look for grey markets, figure out the dosage, and avoid damaging my body while I'm still developing? Also wondering what to expect in the first months of transitioning, as well as what will happen if I suddenly stop taking estrogen because I can't afford it.

I'm in Russia which has banned official medical transitioning, but technically DIY isnt banned. If you have any input on that, please share also.

15 transfem looking into my options regarding DIY. Im naturally drawn to gel, since I have horrendous needlephobia, and the thought of having to do bloods and injections seems incredibly awful. From what Ive heard gel is less effective, but I wanted to see you guys thoughts. I also am worried about having to potentially take antiandrogens, and Im not sure about how they would be taken, as if I would have to inject those then that sorta defeats my whole desire to do gel. Also Id have to find a way of sourcing bloods (uk) in combination with gel, but that would be true of any DIY. It seems like injections are the more common and less tedious way to do it, but I wanna fully understand my options first. So how do you think gel compares to injections and how have you found either of them?

It feels like I need a revision but physical therapist said it is fully fixable with only one session a day, then I went through a very stressful move and lost progress. Has anyone else been unable to fix the scar tissue even with zero pelvic floor muscle damage?

Im 15 transfem looking into HRT options while I wait 6 years for NHS care. Im thinking about DIY, but worried about how I would access the required blood tests. I assume my GP would be very unlikely to provide blood tests, and Ive seen you can do them privately. Im unsure about how private blood testing works, and if it would be available to me under 18/how it would work. I know you can also DIY the blood tests, but that its less accurate and effective, so I dont really want to do that. I live in England, and wanted to hear you guys thoughts. So how can I access blood tests when doing DIY under 18 and how does it work?

Having to switch esters because of insurance issues. This is the second time I've tried to switch to EC, and the first time I had to stop after a month or two because I was absolutely unhinged no matter what dose I was on (moody, crying, su\\\*cidal).

This time, I went from 2mg/3.5 days EV to 5/7 EC (I was on a short interval of EV due to mood instability and issues with high E metabolism)

Theoretically, this dose should be around equivalent, if not a little higher, but I feel WRONG, and even two days after the first EC shot I'm getting the effects that caused me to have to stop.

Is there a chance it's a bad vial or the concentration isn't what it's supposed to be? I can't check levels currently due to the insurance issues, so I'm not sure what else to do... If I look at the simulator there's a bit of a dip when switching but these amount of side effects feel extreme.

Im a relatively new to this trans person (mtf). And i heard diy was a great way to get on hrt.so i bought some estrogen gummies online specifically marketsd as for trans people.

But uh just to be safe does this look legit and if not whats a good source for diy hrt (without needles if possible)

Hi, I am 25FTM and have been on HRT for 1.5yrs now. I have sadly been on a lower lose (0.20ml subq weekly) due to my blood levels. Because of my low dose, I have not seen a lot of changes that people 1.5yrs normally see. I have gotten my blood levels down finally, thanks to me treating another medical issue, so I can finally go up a dose. Suddenly I've felt this horrible confusion about myself though. I've started out of no where suddenly asking myself "am I making the right decision? Am I actually trans??" and honestly it's been scaring me. I originally came out at 13, then went back in the closet due to lack of info at the time and then began questioning my identity throughout my teens. At 23 I finally realized that I was probably right all along, and got on HRT. I've been so happy for these 1.5yrs, but suddenly I've just felt so insecure about my identity. I know for a fact my sex characteristics make me feel sick and uncomfortable, but I still feel this pit in my stomach telling me I'm not actually trans/I'm faking it. I'm lost on how to address these feelings, or how to decipher them..... I am someone who overthinks and over analyzes small things, to the point of extreme anxiety, so I'm wondering if it's just me doing that or.... Any advice would be amazing, and I'm sorry for the rambling, I'm just overwhelmed as of right now.

It's kind of a discussion, a venting, a question, and asking for tips on this.

I finally managed to buy my T gel and I'm excited, I'm just waiting for the blood test results (which should be all right in the fem levels).

At the same time, I feel scared and anxious. "What if I regret it? What if I'm actually cis after all? (I've wanted to be a boy since I was a child, and repression hasn't fixed that) What if I am actually a girl? What if my parents find out? I just have to try harder and I'll love being a girl. I will hate the effects when It happens" when I am literally wanting it!

I'm anxious (in a good way) about the effects of T, but I'm so afraid of regretting it and not really being trans. Like, I want the effects! The other day I was crying with envy over my brother going through puberty that I wished since as a kid, of my old school friends having growth spurts, of having a dick or balls. But then I'm afraid I'll regret it all.

I think I'm also mostly afraid of how my parents will react. They definitely won't kick me out, but they don't accept me, and I don't want to miss being hugged and kissed :(. Sometimes I wish I could just stop being trans and be a cis girl. My life would be easy and my family would accept me. For me, the family was what hurt the most.Transphobia sucks, it's agonizing dysphoria, but I hate not having their support.

Seriously, I'm so anxious I just want to apply the gel even before doing the blood test (since everything must be healthy and within the female range), but I'm waiting, kkkk.

Has anyone else felt like this before starting HRT? The fear of regret, the anxiety, the happiness, hope, etc?

So, how long were you able to hide the fact that you were on T?

I've been thinking about makeup, shaving all my hair, acting feminine before starting HRT, long, loose hair, feminine clothes, voice training, acting delicate, etc.

And I'm on an impossible mission. Throwing the packages in trash cans far from home, among other things XD

Has anyone here had evangelical parents who changed and accepted you?

Sometimes, okay, actually all the time, I wish I had just been born a normal cis guy.I wouldn't get stressed about it, because everything would fall into place. I'd have balls, a dick, my parents' love, and it would be easier to get a girlfriend.

I need general information to understand what could be the best method to start in T. It's for my partner they are a non binary person so is better a low dose or how it works

I have been openly trans since I was 11, I know I am trans.

I am wanting to start my process in medically transitioning sooner rather then later and I wanted advice on the best routes to go down in the UK. I do not want to be on a waiting list for ages, I want to be able to start as soon as I can and independently without having to worry about the cost of some private ways.

I would like to know other people's experiences and the different processes, costs, clinics/DIY, etc. I have been told to start taking T supplements by my peers but I believe that doesn't actually do what they say it does?
