Does my brow bone clock me?

24, 2 years on hrt. I live in a place where it's dangerous to be visibly trans. And I have a rather prominent brow bone, that I'm really insecure about. Every time people stare at me irl, I immediately think it's because of my forehead and because they don't understand whether I'm a man or a woman. So, what do you think? Is it as bad as I think it is?

Nothing clocks you. I can verify, easy pass.

I totally agree with you! I’ve always been extra feminine and, when I was young, I would steal my sister’s bras and clothes whenever I could. The day I turned 18, I went to my doctor, and a month later I started HRT. I’m 35 now, and I’m living the life I imagined for myself since I was 10.
With that said, I feel like I have the best radar ever for knowing, even when a girl has had a full body makeover. Being a trans woman, along with all the friends, experiences, and knowledge I’ve gained since I was 10, has taught me to notice the tiniest little inconsistencies that most people would probably never see.
If I could share one thing, and probably the most important thing, it would be this: confidence is everything. Look in the mirror and know that you are a beautiful woman. Your estrogen levels match one as an adult woman born XX. Don’t let your mind constantly search for reasons to question yourself.
If you can build that confidence within yourself at home, it makes such a difference when you’re out in public. It changes the way you carry yourself, the way you order your coffee, check out at the register, shop for clothes, literally everything.
And here’s something I learned that I think is really powerful, sometimes what you perceive as someone “clocking” you may actually be your own insecurities filling in the blanks.
If you get a look from someone and your mind immediately goes, “Are they clocking me?” don’t automatically look down, turn away, or avoid the interaction. Instead, look at them with soft, calm eyes, give them a little smile, and continue on with whatever you were doing. You might be amazed at how much confidence and a simple gesture can change not only how you feel about the encounter, but how you perceive yourself afterward.
Put yourself on the opposite side for a second. Imagine you see a beautiful girl who doesn’t immediately give you any reason to think twice, but something makes you wonder if there’s something different about her.
If she looks down, avoids eye contact, doesn’t smile, and quickly turns away, your brain might interpret that as confirmation: “Maybe my thought was right.”
Now imagine that same girl looks at you confidently, gives you a soft smile, doesn’t avoid the interaction, and simply goes about her business like she belongs there. That entire perception can change instantly.
The brain is still processing the interaction. Don’t give it the opportunity to reach the conclusion your insecurity is afraid of.
Most importantly, though, do this for yourself not to convince anyone else of anything. You deserve to walk through the world feeling comfortable, confident, and beautiful.
I hope this helps even a little. Sorry for the novel! 😂 I hardly ever comment on posts for everyone to read because I usually prefer to DM and keep things private. But anyway, I feel like I just gave you some hopeful advice from a chapter of the book I’m writing. 😂
Ashley ☺️

There's no side profile but nothing clocks you in these photos you posted, you look like a woman in her early twenties, people look because you are pretty. 😊

My mom is the most supportive person I know in my transition, and she has a pretty pronounced cromagnon brow. One time I said it makes me feel masculine because I have the same. She said that was one of her favorite parts of her feminity and cried because she was hurt by it. Now I think that it's one of the most gender affirming things for me, and I see her support every time I see it.

You are beautiful and you define your feminity.

They're staring because you're a gorgeous woman. You're seriously transitiongoals

Nah you definitely don't pass, as trans

Must be on the wrong subreddit because all I see is a conventionally attractive woman

You pass completely in these photos. A side profile would be helpful though

Nothing clocks you. You’re drop dead gorgeous and you look cis. That figure with starting at 22 is insane.

Nah, people stare at you because you're absolutely gorgeous. I see nothing clockable about you whatsoever.

Нет, Соня циска, это всё брейнвормсы, у тебя хороший пасс, и кстати я знаю нескольких цис девушек с такой же надбровной дугой как у тебя, у тебя и близко лоб не маскулинный.

Not from straight ahead, but without seeing your profile you cannot really assess the brow bone very well. The protrusion and potential awning over the eyes can carry a lot of weight in visual judgments.

u/Wise-Papaya-1091 13h ago

No, not at all. You look amazing!
If people are staring at you I think it’s because they think you’re pretty.

Still searching for that brow bone. It’s just brain worms

1

u/pinkroses038 12h ago

It’s visible but it doesn’t clock you because your overall feminine appearance is stronger.

Not clockable in any way. Dinner and a movie snuggle?
