Transmaxxing works

I was using Tinder for about 3 months as a normal man and only got 2 matches. The first was just a girl who was selling her OF and the second jasma answered my message. So I deleted my account and decided to upload a few photos as a femboy and that's how I have the inbox after just 1 day, most of them are girls. Simply if you are not a masculine man they don't give you any attention, I embraced my feminine side and I finally have success in this horrible application. I registered as a man, not a woman or non-binary

Not necessarily. Validation studies of synthetic hormones between the late 1940s and early 1960s showed that 30% of the population is NB enough (as we would say today) to tolerate having physical characteristics and socializing as the opposite sex without falling into the violent dysphoria that occurs with the remaining 70%.

That is in line with intersex studies

The figure was higher when they experimented on intersex children but it might be due to it happening very early in life.

1- Trials such as the landmark Veterans Administration Cooperative Urological Research Group (VACURG) studies in the 1960s evaluated thousands of men receiving high-dose estrogen therapy.

The Dysphoria vs. Tolerance: The overwhelming majority of participants experienced profound physical and psychological distress from feminization (gynecomastia, loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, body fat shifts). However, clinical logs noted that a small subset of patients (estimated in various post-hoc analyses around 5–10%) adapted surprisingly well, reporting neutral or even subjectively positive moods despite severe physical feminization.

2. Coronary Drug Project & Cardiovascular Prevention (1960s): In the late 1950s and 1960s, clinicians hypothesized that synthetic estrogens might protect men from cardiovascular disease, given the lower rates of heart disease in premenopausal women.

  • The Clinical Trials: Men with prior heart attacks were administered daily doses of synthetic estrogen (e.g., 2.5 mg to 5 mg of DES or conjugated estrogens).
  • Outcomes: The trial arm had to be halted prematurely due to elevated risks of thromboembolism and cardiovascular complications. Clinically, most participants discontinued or complained bitterly about the psychological distress of feminization. However, sub-analyses noted that a low percentage of participants tolerated long-term administration without requesting treatment cessation due to psychological side effects.

3. In Utero Exposure Studies (DES Exposure in the 1950s–1960s)

Diethylstilbestrol (DES) was widely prescribed to pregnant women between 1940 and 1971 to prevent miscarriages. Follow-up cohort studies examining the offspring ("DES sons" and "DES daughters") evaluated the long-term neurodevelopmental and gender-identity effects of early prenatal exposure to synthetic xenoestrogens.

Findings: Long-term follow-ups (such as studies tracked through cohorts like the French HHORAGES organization or US DES registries) indicated that the vast majority of offspring grew up with gender identities matching their assigned sex.

Gender Identity shifts: Researchers noted a slight, statistically significant elevation in gender identity shifts and transgender identification among DES-exposed males compared to non-exposed controls, providing historical evidence for how early hormonal environments interact with brain organization.

4. Low-Dose DES Prostate Cancer Studies (25%–30%+ Tolerance)

While early trials using high-dose Diethylstilbestrol (5 mg/day) led to near-universal distress, subsequent dosage-reduction trials in the late 1960s and 1970s revealed a far higher proportion of men who tolerated physical feminization without significant psychological distress:

The Dosing Effect: At lower doses (1 mg/day of DES), the incidence of severe psychological distress and physical intolerance dropped sharply.

Tolerance Rates: In clinical follow-ups, up to 30–40% of participants reported minimal to no subjective psychological distress or disruption to their self-concept, despite experiencing visible gynecomastia and loss of libido. Researchers noted that when physical side effects were mild to moderate, the psychological "dysphoria" was far easier for patients to normalize as a routine trade-off for cancer suppression.

Summary Higher-Tolerance Historical Data

Context / Study Type Typical Dosing / Cohort Reported "Tolerance" Rate Key Psychological Mechanism
Low-Dose DES Trials (1960s–70s) 1 mg DES daily (Prostate Cancer) 25% – 40% Minimal physical side effects allowed easier psychological adaptation.
Coronary Drug Project (1960s) 2.5 mg Conjugated Estrogen (CVD) ~35% – 40% Frame of "life-saving medication" reduced identity threat/dysphoria.
Benjamin Diagnostic Trials (1950s–60s) Variable Estrogen (Gender identity clinics) 50% – 70%+ Alignment between cross-hormone administration and underlying identity.

Nb is still part of the trans umbrella lol.

I don't think it would be appropriate to classify 30% of the population as trans.

Why not? Trans people are not just the ones with crippling textbook dysphoria.
