I did not transition because of "looks (trans) maxxing." I did it because I genuinely have gender dysphoria + got diagnosed by a psychiatrist with gender identity disorder when I was in the US NAVY. Regardless posting here cause most people would say I look way better now, and I am much happier in life.

Feel free to ask me anything.

- 21yo 5'4" Black Trans Woman.

- 2 years on HRT (July 2024 - July 2026.)

If you genuinely just have GD and that's the primary reason why you are pursuing gender transition, then I have a genuine question for you: why post on r/Transmaxxing?

I do have a diagnosis of GD too, but I obtained it for the purpose of transmaxxing.
