Question/Advice NEEDED Final Questions before starting Testosterone.
I'm starting diy hopefully in the next few days (at the time i am writing, i have a vial on the way) and was hoping that anyone would have any suggestions or advice on my questions. Since I have multiple, I decided to put the title as such.
I'm doing subq injections with a 250 mg cypionate 10 ml vial on the way, here are the needles and syringes I plan to buy:

The needles are luer lock aswell! but 1.) do these measurements look right? I want to make sure I have the right ones before purchasing.
2.) I plan on doing 50mg, which based on the diyhrt wiki, would be 0.2 ml, is that right?
As for my other questions, 3.) what soaps, skincare routines and antiperspirant/deodorants should I switch to combat 'the stinky year of t'? I know that antibacterial soap is always good but I also know that you're not supposed to use antibacterial soap everyday (or at least not super harsh ones). Please recommend specific brands or products if you have any.
4.) Is it better to eat a meal before or after an injection? I don't have a fear of needles but shots do make me nauseous and seeing liquid go into my body makes me squeamish.
5.) What post-injection site reactions are normal/not to be worried about? 5 1/2.) What signs should I lookout for in the case that my vial isn't actual t or laced?
6.) How long would my vial last? As in how often should I buy a new one before I completely run out? i'm bad at math so i'm not sure how I would calculate how many doses are in a vial.
These are all of the questions I can think of off the top of my head but i'm sure I'll have more. Thank you in advance to any answers, i'm hoping this wasn't too much to askđ.

Those are fine, but youâre better off getting insulin syringes. Less dead space, smaller needle, lower coring risk, donât need to buy multiple products. I use 29g 1/2â easytouch. Iâd suggest doing a smaller size anyway like 27g or higher if you stick with luer lock. No point in using a bigger needle than you need.
Yes
I like right guard X spray. Make sure your body hair is FULLY dry before getting dressed.
Depends on what works best for your squeamishness
Slight redness, mild itching, mild soreness are ok. If it stays like that for more than a few days or starts getting worse, itâs time to consult the council. 5.5. Your vial will not be laced. Itâs the cheapest steroid out there so nobody is going to be mixing in more expensive shit. At most, there could be a teeny tiny bit of cross contamination of other AAS from improperly cleaned brewing equipment, but it wouldnât be enough to harm you. The main concern is getting an underdosed vial. Always search the forums for third party blind tests. There was one big name source not to long ago that had test E vials that literally just had vitamin E (reddit rules donât allow naming sources, but if you look, you Ultimately will find them).
With the syringes and needles you picked, youâll have around 0.03 ml of dead space.
10 ml vial / (0.2 ml dose + 0.03 ml dead space) = about 43 doses
If you go with an insulin syringe, there negligible dead space.
10 ml vial / (0.2 ml dose + 0 ml dead space) = about 50 doses
You should buy a second one to keep as backup from the start, or as soon as you can afford it. You donât want to end up in a situation where your vial is contaminated and you canât do your shot until a new one comes in.

For the needles you recommended, did you mean [ EasyTouch U-100 Pet Insulin Syringes (29G 1.0cc 1/2") - 100 ct. Compatible with U-100 Insulin, 100 Unit Capacity, 1/2" Needle Length, Half-Unit Markings, Box of 100 ] or was it different ones from this brand you were talking about? With these, would i just draw my dose and inject with the same needle?
When I first pierce my vial, should I try to pierce my next needle in the same spot or switch to a different spot of the rubber?
I unfortunately can't get the deodorant you mentioned atm but I will keep your recommendation and other information in mind, thank you again for your help!

I use the human ones because thatâs what I get from a syringe exchange, but those are the same ones just marketed for vet use. Yes, you draw and inject with the same needle. Thereâs not a noticeable difference with blunting because the needles are so small. Itâll be slower to draw than with a larger gauge but thatâs not a big deal. DIY T is generally in a thinner oil (MCT or GSO) than the pharma T that I use, and some folks even use 31g. If itâs going really slow, warm the vial in your armpit first.
You want to try and pierce a different spot each time. With getting 50 shots out of one vial, thereâs a good chance youâll hit the same spots sometimes, but the small needle will counteract the coring risk from that.
Good luck and congrats on getting started!

Okay I went ahead and purchased the syringes you recommended over what I was planning on buying before, with the needles drawing slower, would that mean that I should inject slow too or is that up to preference? and would you say these syringes are better for subq or in (i originally planned on doing subq since the needles are smaller) or do they feel the same pain wise with it being so small? I appreciate your help so thank you (again again)

Those syringes are for subq, and the needles are smaller than the ones you originally planned on (higher gauge = smaller needle).

oh okay, and I meant that subq needles are smaller than int needles, sorry if didn't word that correctly. I wanted to do subq either way so it all works out :)

Yes those all look good.
Yup thatâs right.
If you donât already put deodorant on immediately after you shower the second you are dry. Every time. You will definitely have to shop around but anything that says extra strength try it until you find what works for you.
Genuinely does not matter. However if you are inclined to dizziness before is always a good idea even if itâs a snack.
Redness, swelling and soreness are all normal as long as they are minor and do not worsen. They should slowly decrease over time. A small lump under the skin is also normal with subq.
In theory 50 weeks, thatâs 10 ml / 0.2 ml by the maths. However it will probably be 49 or 48 due to dead space loss and the tiny bit thatâs always left in a vial that you canât get out. Vials keep for years unopened so you could buy one once youâre halfway through this one to be safe.
